About this coffee

Coffee cultivation began in this Pacific Island nation in 1937 using imported seeds from Jamaica’s famous Blue Mountain Region. This delightful coffee, grown in the Eastern Highland Province, has noticeable similarities to the Blue Mountain coffees. Production is largely by small farmers with land holdings that grow as little as 20-100 trees per plot in “coffee gardens” alongside subsistence crops.
