from Google & Yelp"I have ordered coffee from Doug at Kind a few times now. Ive gotten both the legendary Christmas blend and a single origin roast, both were shipped quickly to me in my home state and came wonderfully fresh. You can tell a lot of passion goes into the process of sourcing and roasting some of the finest beans. Its a treat for me to put an order in, you wont be disappointed with the quality here."
"They sell really delicious coffee. Doug is such a nice person — he told me a lot about coffee and recommended great places to visit in the city. It’s my top recommendation in Syracuse. I’ll definitely come back here if I visit the city again."
"The best coffee money can buy. No credit cards allowed. Dont ask for anything other than black coffee you will be so happy."
"Great unique place with good coffee! Stop in and meet Doug (the owner). I was on my way back to Rochester from East Syracuse. I Googled "coffee near me" and Kind Coffee had a good review, so I decided to stop. After an awkward moment, I soon realized they only accept cash. Embarrassed, I said "I'm sorry, I don't have cash, I was traveling and found you on Google." Doug, seemingly unfazed, asked where I was from and poured me a fresh cup of coffee. Again I said " I don't have any money, just credit." He said, "it's cool man, next time you're in the area stop and pay me, or don't, whatever." Then, after a long conversation about coffee (he roasts all his own) he gave me a 1/4lb of Jamaican blue mountain (another good faith sale). Anyhow, one of the best, most memorable coffee experiences I have had. It's worth a visit, if for nothing else but to meet Doug. By the way, I did stop back and pay!"
"Best coffee cherry pits/ beans ever! Doug has taught me a lot about beans, making coffee. He has a lot of passion! Love it!"
"Great hole in the wall Coffee Roaster. This is NOT a cafe or bakery. This was the first thing I was told when I came in asking if they did espresso drinks...."
