"The co-op is the best!!! There’s no fee to shop, which makes it super accessible. But if you do have a membership, you can easily make it worth it with small member discounts throughout the year. Especially love the student rate. It’s walkable from most of the university neighborhood. I love seeing how much of my grocery haul was local at the bottom of my receipt, love the wide range of bulk goods, love the bulk spices, love the friendly staff! Meat and dairy prices are higher, but you know it’s good stuff. And I find that bulk goods and veggies are not more expensive compared to other places (especially considering how much more convenient the Kensington location is). Super thrilled that the co-op exists!!!!"

"Great place to pick up a few things with friendly staff and a casual atmosphere. Got a pita stuffed with spiced garbanzo beans from their deli section. Tastes great after heating it up in the microwave."

"Sad to say this place is overpriced, the fruits and veg are not local, and the bulk section looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. To have to pay a fee just to shop there seems outrageous on top of the high prices and uncleanliness. The staff was very friendly but seemed uninformed about their practices, maybe they were new, however, I asked only a couple basic questions. Wouldn't recommend."
