"Attended the high tea experience here a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with friends. Had a great time! I had attended one high tea experience prior to this and it was a little over a year ago at the Boston Public Library. While what Café Louise offers is great, the previous experience at that other venue was on a different level. We were asked to choose from a few different types of bagged teas and were allowed to have as much as we like, as well as switch types/flavors if we wish.served—on the bottom tier—finger sandwiches: egg salad, chicken salad (Waldorf style I believe), salmon. Second tier had desserts: lemon curd button pastries, macarons, cheesecake bites (if I recall correctly). Third top tier had fruit: strawberries and grapes. One thing I really enjoyed, as did the other ladies dining with me, was that the two pots brought to our table were handmade pottery, and each of us had a different mug. There was some low, contemporary music in the background, and Susan, our server, was extremely friendly and a delight to interact with. After the meal/experience, we had paid admission to check out the museum while we were there and enjoyed lots of exhibits. All in all, I would say we spent about an hour and a half for the meal and maybe an hour browsing all around the museum. As compared to the courtyard at Boston Public library, which had featured loose tease, and the person serving would tell you all about where the tea is from and what subtle hints of flavor you might recognize, and each person had their own pot and he poured it into your cup for you and the bottom tier had similar finger sandwiches that were slightly larger with fresh spring greens in them, the second tier had lobster roll and another type of finger sandwich, and the top tier had a variety of Madeleine cookies and macarons. Also, at the high tea experience at the Boston Public library, the waiter explained what high tea is and went into detail almost like a five minute history lesson about it. There were also linen tablecloths on the tables and linen napkins, with classical string music playing. I have no negatives for my experience at Louise… I believe this is one of the only high tea experiences in central New York, so I think it’s a pretty decent attempt 😉"

"This is a great find. The dishes were fresh and light, and the plating was so special - one-of-a-kind ceramics for every item. How sweet! We would go back every time we are in Syracuse.we also got to meet an artist-in-residence, which was very cool!"

"Very pleasant place to have lunch. We had the puff pastry chicken pot pie and the chili with cornbread. Both very good and it was fun to eat off a piece of art and use the NFC tag to look it up. The atmosphere is mellow and the service was terrific."

"A gem in downtown Syracuse where you get to eat and enjoy your drinks out of (literal) pieces of art! We ordered the Chicken Waldorf and the Jalapeño Jam Sandwich. The food was high quality and the black coffee was great."
