What People Are Saying

from Google

"I’ve tried Main Street Coffee a few times, hoping it would get better, but every visit has been a disappointment. The latte is always cold, and even when I ordered caramel (which they charge extra for), there was none in it. The wait time is always way too long. Honestly, it’s an overhyped and overrated coffee shop nothing special at all."

"This isn’t the first time we’ve been here, but it has been a while. The food has definitely gone downhill. The last time we were there, we had breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and my wife got a brownie. Nothing unusual. Food was decent. That was maybe last spring? And we had been here a few times before that. It was worth going back. No longer. It’s been several months. I totally get any price increases. But the quality? Not good. Sandwich was iffy and overly greasy. Bagel was stale. And it was like whomever slapped it together couldn’t be bothered to make sure the egg was on the sandwich instead of falling out. My wife liked the brownie the last time. So I bought us both one for a snack later. What cost me almost $10 was NOT a brownie. It was stale chocolate cake sort of like store bought Entenmann’s— but OLD. It was inedible. Really awful stuff. The best thing about this place is its location. Everything else is terrible. What happened?"

"I have ordered via delivery apps about a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. Considering the prices nowadays, this place is a bargain! Especially for the baked goods which are way bigger portions than I was expecting from the price point. We've tried a few of their "toasts" and they were all fantastic with fresh ripe avocados, crisp salad greens, and generous portions. Most of the negative reviews are due to slow service, which is going to happen if you are walking in during an event at Richmond town. It's a small shop located in a charming historic building, not designed for catering to the masses. It's definitely worth dining in if they are not busy, you can't help but feel cozy in this place."

★★★★★

"This is a very cute cafe. Came here to visit the Historic Richmond Town and decided to eat in the cafe and see what they offered. Selection is pretty big. Ice cream, shakes, coffee, teas, burgers, wings, pastries, soups… I like the coziness in here. Felt like part of the historic town. It wasn’t too busy in here but maybe understaffed. Food took a really long time to come out but the price for the portion size and the food itself was pretty good. Definitely enjoyed my time here. And there’s a nice big outdoor seating area too."

★★★★

"Since the gentleman barista left or hasn’t been working as often, the drink quality has been inconsistent. The cafe has excellent beans and top-tier machines, but it really takes skill to get the best results. Hopefully this feedback brings attention to managements."
