"Excellent! I stopped for a shot of espresso, just to check if I’d come back some other time or not. The first impression was great! Bob was friendly, acknowledged my presence at the register and I only waited 30 seconds to put my order. He’s definitely the light in the place. I also ordered a PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE scone and a MAPLE PECAN scone, that I tasted while waiting for my coffee. Total: $9.25. I didn’t wait more than five minutes for my coffee, that Bob brought to my table with a glass of sparkling water. Pastries and coffee were great. The place is tiny, so there might be a line all the way through the door and to the curb outside, but it moves quickly, and they made good use of the space providing proportionally plenty of seats. I’m definitely recommending this coffee shop and coming back soon."

"First time here, Tiny little cup about 2 1/2 oz I was looking for A nice cup of coffee she brought this little thing out and I said wow this is small I would like a bigger cup and she said oh well this is The way the it comes and I said well I would like a bigger cup and she said sorry you’ll have to pay which I don’t mind paying for the difference but she wants me to buy whole new drink and because I ordered half-and-half as my milk, they charged me $1. 50 more😳not good business"

"Genuinely the best coffee shop in all of Rochester. I am always trying to bring people to Ugly Duck to experience how delicious their coffee tastes. Staff is always friendly, the space is super welcoming, and of course, the coffee is fantastic. Love their merch as well- I'm always wearing that Ugly yellow beanie! Keep up the great work yall."

Several great options to choose from, including beans roasted locally, a rotation of visiting roasters, hot chocolate, and other warming drinks like the Snug and the Sun Salutation. They take pride in their craft, curate amazing sweets from partners like Black Cat Baking, showcase local artists, and bring together a community of both customers and industry peers. Drink sizes vary from shots of espresso to 16oz lates etcetera. Menu options and seasonal specialties are clearly posted."
