"Yet another fabulous cafe takes centre stage in the bustling area of Mt Hope Ave. Stepping into Mocha House draws your eye straight to the lofty moody dark blue exposed duct work ceilings and concrete slabbed walls. The furnishings continue that theme with hints of white and gold. Softened with the greenery of the plants. Whether you are alone, a couple or a group there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate. The Mocha House menu is pretty impressive. They serve coffees, shaken espressos, hot/cold lattes, hot traditional, iced, matcha, smoothies, frappes as well as freshly baked pastries and cakes! We ordered the Tiramisu Latte, Savoury Croissant with Spinach Feta, Sanaani (roasted black coffee with cardamom), Zatar Naan, Dirty Chai and Bee Bites. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The Spinach Feta was my favourite. The staff are wonderful and accommodating (they warmed up my Bee Bites for me). There is paid parking right outside and a free carpark in the back somewhere…. Looking forward to returning soon."

"Mocha House is a true gem — the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone, with cozy seating, natural light, and a modern yet comfortable vibe perfect for relaxing, meeting friends, or getting work done. Highly recommend the famous Adani Chai, various cold brews of tea and coffee. The Turkish coffee was also outstanding. They also have other traditional American coffee drinks. The cheese pies and spinach pies were great. Loved the authentic meat pies with a hint of pomegranate molasses. Very authentic. We are lucky to have this place in our backyard! The coffee is outstanding, from smooth, bold espresso to perfectly crafted lattes and specialty drinks, all made with fresh, high-quality beans. The desserts were up notch. Baklava, macaroons, cakes, pies are all excellent and taste incredible. Their pastries and light bites are equally impressive, with fresh, flavorful options that feel homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The staff make the experience even better with their friendliness, knowledge, and genuine care for customers, creating a welcoming environment that keeps you wanting to come back. Clean, comfortable, and consistently excellent, Mocha House is easily one of the best coffee spots in Rochester."

"Would not waste money on the desserts. The pistachio cheesecake had absolutely zero pistachio flavoring. The other desserts pretty much all look outsourced and as if they were stored improperly. The abu walad latte half sweet was good & perfect to me sweetness wise. I got the ube latte with regular sweetness to see what their standard is, but weirdly, it was even less sweet than my previous drink."
