"Nice place to sit and eat casually in Downtown Rochester. It's a food court but not like at a mall-- it's quiet and in a historic building. Right now there's a Christmas display to one side with animatronic Santas. I'm not big into the stuff, it's a bit creepy but I digress. This is a solid place to get a bite to eat. Unfortunately, places go out of business and leave, like the pho place that used to be here. So come here and eat! I got a Rooteins salad for $10. It's a good salad! There's a coffee bar too, that had pastries sometimes."

"Mercantile is so beautiful 😍 First food court in Rochester that's not in a mall. I love it great service & great choices. I've sitten at the bar had cocktails & a fresh melon salad 🥗 I've also gone to the French Creole restaurant delicious!"

Happened on this establishment because it was freezing outside and their door was open. Went in for warmth and stayed for the food."
