What People Are Saying
from Google"This is a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely superb ingredients and immaculate orchestration of them. The short rib beef and biscuit was phenomenal. Poached egg was done perfectly with yolk that walked out of the white, rather than ran. Biscuit was brown and flaky with buttery and salty goodness. Nailed the strawberry danish real proper like with flaky and soft pastry and wholesome compote. Came back for dinner a few days later and the scallops were delicious with the perfect juicy and soft (but not raw) texture. It had a basil and herbed beats that I could eat—and I don’t eat beats. Ricotta cnocchi was so damn smooth it slid down the gullet with ease; no heavy chewing or rich resistance. Haven’t even had the pork chop I ordered yet but suspect it will be on point. Regardless, the delivery of all the above warrants a 5 star rating. Highly recommend. Mad props to the chef and cooks."
"I made myself a reservation because you never know, even though I was a solo diner. It did fill up rather quickly. I’ve heard this was the best restaurant in town, and once I saw the offerings, I knew I had to try it. I was able to order off menu for my cocktail, which was impressive given the waiter knew what I had asked for without having to explain it. Both the food and drinks were heavenly, melt in your mouth kind of sensatiable. Bonus points for the staff having Shout wipes available after I made a spill on my dress, and all I had asked for was some club soda. This *is* the best place in town, no notes!"
"The setting is nice but dark. Table was lopsided and i had to fix it or the food and drinks would shake the entire time. The food takes forever to be delivered and customer service is sub par. Empty wine and drink glasses and no even asks if you'd like another. We had to flag down other people to get the waitress attention. Had reservations for new years eve. It was supposed to be special and the food was burnt, small portions, and I dont why it says french restaurant. Dishes were small. It took an hour from 2nd to 3rd entree to get the main course. Got dessert to go cause we weren't waiting another hour for rhe 4th serving. It turned a special evening and holiday into a nightmare and ruined it. It is not worth the cost and would definitely not go here again. There are better restaurants with better service and atmosphere in Rochester. I understand it might be busy, but dont book so many reservations or have the staff to handle the reservations for meals that were were not cheap."
"Very good food and an attentive wait staff. The atmosphere is kind of old stagecoach stop, steam punk vibe. It's not very large, but it's worthorth the trip. We had reservations but may have been able to sit at the bar."
"Went there for my anniversary. The staff were so welcoming and were happy to celebrate with us. Our waitress Meghan was very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was classy and comfortable. The bartender Wyatt made fantastic drinks which was the cherry on top for this experience! Would absolutely go back!"
