"I went to ‘Sweet Chick’ today with my family. It was pretty random. We left the ‘Blend LLC’ since they wanted us to wait an additional 20 minutes. Keep in mind, we RSVP’ed in advance. So, we ended up waiting two more blocks here. It was completely empty. We were the only people at first. The food was excellent. I got a Nashville Chicken Sandwich with French Fries. The hot sensation wasn’t unbearable. The atmosphere, aesthetic, and music were impeccable. My family and I plan to revisit this location. Highly recommend it👏🏾!"

"I went for an early dinner with a co-worker. I ordered the apple cinnamon chicken and waffles, the butters that come with them (lemon butter and wild berry) were such an excellent touch. The chicken was crispy, juicy and full of flavor. Ernesto served us and he has such a great spirit and went above and beyond for my coworker ensuring she got coffee, he made it fresh because they didn't have any when she ordered. The prices were right on point. We will be back."

"The waffles weren’t great they tasted like they came from a frozen bag rather than being freshly made. The chicken was just okay, and the mac and cheese was decent but nothing special. The lemonade was also fine, though it wasn’t freshly squeezed (I saw the bartender pour it from a gallon jug). On the positive side, the aesthetics and music were excellent the atmosphere was definitely a highlight. Sat there for a few hrs and waiter never bothered us or was pushy to get us to get to and leave Overall, I might go back for the vibe, but it wouldn’t be my first or even second choice for a meal."

"Shocking amount of vegan/vegetarian options. They allow you to substitute pretty much any meat option with a vegan chicken! As a vegetarian, I’ve never had Kentucky fried chicken or traditionally more southern comfort food like this so it was great to try it! Staff was super friendly, we came in "

"Everytime my family attends the Long Island City Location, I’m impressed by the food, but more importantly, the customer service. I must mention Isaac, who is very professional, efficient & passionate at his job. I’m very perceptive and a food connoisseur of sorts. I’ve managed different establishments & have acquired my own business. He’s left an impact on me. This professionalism isn’t common in this day and age, so he is greatly appreciated.
