"I just visited Monkey Joe Roasting Company for the first time. I tried their Papua New Guinea coffee. Delicious! I also purchased their Malawi whole bean coffee but can’t review this yet. They have a fairly large selection of whole bean coffees to purchase, some good looking treats to eat with your coffee, and a very pleasant and knowledgable person behind the counter. If you’re a big coffee drinker looking for coffee that is far superior to Starbucks, and you're close to Kingston, they are definitely worth a visit."

Walking into Monkey Joe's for the first time felt like walking into another world. With historic tin ceilings and monkeys in every corner of the building, MJ has an awesome aesthetic. I went in and ordered a mocha and a latte, both to go. The barista had a selection of alternative milks which was a plus as well. Reasonable coffee prices! Service was very quick, which given how busy it was was a nice surprise- the work of highly skilled baristas. They also have me a loyalty punch card, so down the line l can get a free coffee! Ample seating and the vibe inside was super comfortable, making it a cool hangout space as well. Overall it was a pleasant experience, with great coffee to boot."

The coffee taste good and the prices are reasonable, compared to other establishments. I enjoy good coffee and I also enjoy supporting local businesses. There is enough seating for a moderate crowd but not a lot of people."
