from Google & Yelp"This is one of the cutest tea house in New York !! The tea is impecable and delicious 🤤 And my favorite chocolate lava cake is from here. I had ordered several times even late night by Grubhub. Never change the recipe , is the best!! Highly recommended spot. When to go: with friends , family to have a great talk and enjoy a tea 🫖"
"I went on August 29th as a solo/celebration date after picking up my diploma from college. I went back with my mom on September 27, almost a month later, because I couldn't stop thinking about the freshly made scones, marscapone, and jam. We went for afternoon tea. I have yet to try any other item on the menu. The afternoon tea is everything for me. Both times, the service was top-tier, and while the staff was young, everyone greeted and cared for us. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves at work—they were very attentive when we walked in. I was greeted with smiles and welcomed both times, and could be seated immediately. At both times, the waitresses explained the menu, answered all relevant questions, and gave suggestions. (I always welcome this; it tells me they know their menu.) The place was busy today, so the waitress told us what was available. The plain scones ran out, and they provided us with blueberry scones (excellent) at no additional cost. The best part was that they were making fresh plain scones, and they gave me a free one, and I ordered a second one for my mom. I enjoyed the blueberry scones, but my heart is stuck on the plain scones with the sugar on top. They're so light and just omg. 😍😍 Ambiance - i love where the restaurant is - Forest Hill - English Tutor style homes, cobblestones across from the Forest Hill Station. I never felt rushed either time I was there. I love the decor and the light music. I also love the tea sets and cutlery. Food- 10 out of 10 both times. First time i went, i did the afternoon tea for one. I finished everything, savored everything. Second time - obviously we did the afternoon tea for 2- i think it was enough food for two people, but again you can order more food. Next time i come, I'm doing the afternoon tea for 3 (lol), same thing, but seeing my mom enjoy it, savoring, slowing down and relaxing was the highlight of my day. She's very picky and loved everything - she was so happy. Idk, I can keep writing more - I know I'm biased. I won't try the other Price Tea Houses because I found the Golden One. If the managers of Forest Hill want to open a Prince Tea House in Riverhead, Long Island, I would be so happy. It would make a killing. Just make sure it's the same homemade style and vibe as Forest Hill."
"The ambience was cozy, clean and refined. The staff were kind and the service fast. My drink was pretty sweet, I would get the less sweet option if getting boba. The matcha tiramisu was very matcha-y so if that’s your thing go for it. Personally it was too grassy for me, and that’s coming from someone who enjoys matcha lattes. Overall a really cute and chill spot. Little pricey but it has a great vibe. Would go again"
"Food was delicious! Had the afternoon tea special and it was a great sampling of various items on menu. Everything tasted fresh and was presented well. Staff was friendly and service was awesome. Nice selection of teas and cold drinks. Would definitely visit again."
"A lovely place to visit and enjoy incredible desserts and phenomenal tea. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu, as well as any accommodations for food allergies, especially for gluten free. The food and atmosphere made this experience absolutely wonderful and will be my regular go-to spot in the future."
