"Cabana in Forest Hills is hands down one of the best Latin restaurants in Queens! The food is absolutely delicious — everything comes out fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The fried calamari was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and every dish had that homemade Latin touch that makes you want to come back for more. Service was excellent, the ambience is perfect, and the music adds a fun and lively vibe without being too loud. You can really feel the welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Compliments to the chef for the amazing food and flavors — truly a standout dining experience. Highly recommend Cabana to anyone looking for authentic Latin cuisine and great service!"

"I have been to this restaurant many times, and the food is consistently good. We have had the steak with rice and beans, the tostones, and the bacalaitos, which are amazing. We have also tried the rice with salmon and black squid sauce, and it was excellent. They have served some truly great dishes over the years, along with some of the best sangria we have ever had. The consistency and quality are what keep us coming back."

"We got there at 10:20. I was concerned that they closed at 11 and had the waiter sure us we had enough time to not be rushed. Turns out we had plenty of time and we were welcomed. We went with the calamari appetizer The Ropa Vieja and Arroz Con Pollo. Simply delicious They give you a choice of dark meat or white meat for the arroz con pollo. We went with a mix. That’s the first time I was ever asked what type of meat for this dish. It came oven hot in a cast iron grill. Stayed hot the whole meal. The tops vieja was very filling and equally as tastey if not even more."
