"I’ll start with a disclaimer. I really like coffee, so I came in with high expectations. Trying new coffee shops is something I genuinely enjoy, so I was excited to check out Light and Sweet Coffee and Ice Cream Parlor. The shop itself is cute. Small space, nice decor, very aesthetic. Visually, it’s doing what it needs to do. But the coffee was a huge letdown. We ordered three drinks an iced mocha, a hot mocha, and a caramel latte. Every single one was trash. All of them. The espresso tasted watery but somehow burnt at the same time, with no body or balance. The syrups completely overpowered the drinks because there was barely any real coffee flavor to begin with. What really stood out is that the setup is more like something meant for home baristas, not an actual coffee shop. That kind of equipment requires proper puck prep and experience to pull good shots, and it was very obvious that wasn’t happening here. It didn’t feel like there were real baristas behind the counter, and the espresso quality showed it. The place felt more focused on aesthetics than an actual passion for coffee. As for service, there was one girl and one guy working. The guy was nicer, but it didn’t really save the experience. The girl had an attitude and seemed annoyed, which just added to the overall disappointment. I didn’t try the ice cream, so maybe that’s where they shine. But if you’re coming here specifically for coffee, especially with high expectations, this probably isn’t the spot."

"Went here for coffee today with my little one. Lots of options for your coffee however you like it. Staff is super friendly and place is clean, with great music. Definitely a kid friendly place with seating outside. I got a hazelnut latte. It was sweet and delicious! My little one got ice cream. I hope this place is very successful!"

"Had to check it out because my coworker loved their Chai Latte. The shop was very clean and smelled like baked goods. I ordered a Chai latte and a brownie and they were very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back."

"I had never seen this shop before and inside was super cute! It sells sweets and coffee and tea and the owner was super sweet and gave me a passion fruit tea that is delicious. I don’t usually like sweet teas but this tasted good! I recommend trying this tea here :)"
