from Google"I ate here yesterday 2025 Dec 5. Portions and flavor are good, price is decent. Pretty good for a Dave's knockoff. Spice levels run a bit hot. Their sauce is bangin. The inside is pretty barebones; I wasn't sure if they were open or not, because they don't have any signs or menus up inside. There are two menus on the counter itself. A number of reviews mentioned getting overcharged. I was not. I do want to point out that they have updated their menu prices since those reviews (see my photo), I personally paid cash so no surprise charges afterwards, and they don't have a POS system, they calculate your total with an old school calculator. I got a mac-n-chick and 2 sliders n side, $15 and $16 on the menu, it came out to $31. At least one review mentioned them losing their Halal certification. I see it in the corner of their menu, but not sure how up to date that is. I personally don't care for it. Also, I could not find their Dept of Health letter grade anywhere. While A is obviously the standard, I personally eat at B restaurants, though I have not tried a C yet. I don't know where these guys stand. The inside is barebones as I said. There are tables and booths to sit in, but there are some supplies and equipment around, like they're not quite open yet. They have no menus or signage up inside, just two handheld menus laying on the counter. The staff is very friendly, and service was quick. They have 7 spice levels (plus one no spice) just like Dave's Hot Chicken, but they run hotter than Dave's. If you know what level you like at Dave's, get one lower here. Overall, I was skeptical about this place at first because of the reviews, and the fact that it looks a bit sketchy from the outside, but the food is delicious and good value, and it's a great Dave's alternative. I love the sauce and love the spice levels. I am glad I tried it and I will certainly go back. EDIT: I noticed they have a $10 lunch special with a sandwich and fries."
"EDIT: I went back after the hype and opening and today was such a disappointment . Just look how bad they quality went down the picture you see with three burgers WERE FREE And tasted amazing quality was good but look I paid $10.99 for a bun like this with no cheese just a small piece of tender inside? Damn that was disappointing plus their lunch special changed from 4pm to 3pm. Iwas looking for halal hot chicken place in Queens since I lot of them has opened in the city and long island area but not much in Queens, this location is in a busy area and the atmosphere was nice. It has a small space but has space for lounge area and seating. Loved that it was a family business and everyone works really hard to prepare your food. everything was made to fresh so you have to wait few minutes for your food. But it’s so worth it because the juicy tenders and flavors was so good!! their special sauce has flavor and it was very delightful. Went on grand opening day and they had a long line for free meal but we also got the loaded fries ($10.99) and it was so good i usually don’t like fries since it gets soggy but it’s with their tenders and it had amazing crunch and soft fries with coleslaw and sauce 10/10!! Took the free meal (slider and fries) to go home. they have many spice level and i got the hot (wasn’t hot enough for me lol) but very delicious will be coming back! they also have a lunch special for $9.99 for any combo 11-4pm."
"Update: No longer HMS verified. I will never be eating here. I’ve ordered from here a few times within the last couple of years, so you could say I’m a loyal customer. Restaurant could use some work from the inside for customers who like to dine in. It doesn’t seem like they give particular attention to the customer experience but it is fast food like Dave’s so that is to be expected. The spice levels are not on par with Sam’s Hot Chicken in Hillside which they are allegedly partners OR share recipes with (I am unsure). I wish the price wouldn’t increase practically every time I order food from here. There needs to be transparency with payment methods and tax, which other customers have brought up. Once I came during lunch time, they refused to apply the lunch time price specials which is a bummer. Please don’t advertise deals you won’t actually enact, it’s extremely disappointing. However, the food is good enough for me to keep coming back. Ordered from here last night and got the single slider but was given a single tender instead."
"Decided to give this place a try for the first time because it looked good in the pictures and I got scammed. I ordered the “tender+ 1 slider w/fries” combo which says is $11 and a can of coke that had to be like $2 max, I check my bank and it says this place charged me $18 for the whole thing. I wasn't even given a recipient. Never again coming here. The price on the menu doesn’t match what they take out your account. To anyone paying with apple pay make sure you check the transaction once you pay and always ask for the receipt. People work too hard for their money to just be scammed like that. As for the atmosphere, you can tell its new, it looks like a basement, boxes all over the place, it looked a bit sketchy, I even waited outside and had to double check that I was in the right place. I've seen better kitchens at a deli. The only tasty thing about the food was the sauce. I got the tender on a regular bread from the supermarket, not even butter on it or nothing. Definitely not worth anywhere near $20. These people should be ashamed!"
"We traveled all the way from Brooklyn to give this place a try. We got their chicken sliders combo( super hot). The chicken sliders were spicy and juicy. Loved the masala fries and the dip. We also ordered tenders for takeout ( Reaper spice level) and that was pretty good too. The servers are friendly. If you love spicy chicken, surely visit."
