"I had the pleasure of drinking this coffee for the first time about 6 months ago at a local diner I frequent, ever since my first cup I have been hopelessly addicted to this stuff. I've tried many other brands such as McDonalds, Peets, Dunkin, Starbucks, Folgers, Maxwell House, Green Mountain, and some others but none of them can possibly stack up to Vassilaros. This is the only coffee that has not only met my standard, it has exceeded it. It is the only coffee brand that I can drink straight black. In conclusion, I insist you try this coffee at least once. "V&S is equal if not better than Intelligentsia, Blue Bottle and others, yet unfortunately most don’t even know about this old company. Amazing decaf as well, this coffee is soothing and great black, with some jazz accompaniment. Over 100 years old it is literally NYC culture in every glass."
