"Sherlyn’s Bakery is the best! Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully packaged. Sherlyn had our order ready right on time and even added a few extra mini cupcakes, which was such a nice surprise. Everyone at my girlfriend’s birthday loved them! This was our third time ordering (the first two for family events), and every experience has been great. So glad to support a local business that truly cares about quality, service, and customers. "I came here with my sister and husband for some dessert and coffee after dinner. I wish I didn’t! We had the banana pudding which tasting nothing like pudding! It was TERRIBLE! The next worst dessert was the banana bread pudding. The bananas were only on top and not through it. The texture was more like a flan without the caramel flavor. The chocolate cake was mediocre not bad, but not great either. The carrot cake was the best out of all 4 of the desserts. The carrot cake itself was very good and it had delicious raisins in the cake. The frosting on top wasn’t good, and tasted like a bland cream frosting. It had no cream cheese flavor at all. The coffee was even terrible at this place! I can’t see this bakery lasting long in Astoria with all the good dessert shops!"

"Their bakery items are delish! I love their napoleon, nice crunch and creamy. And their cookies are so fluffy once you bite into them they fall apart. Oh their fruit tart is beautifully made and have plenty of different fruits on top. Overall the owners are really nice. Yum"

"Amazing spot for coffee and desserts! There is such a wide range of pastry options, I came by for a slice of pie and left needing to try them all. The waiter was super attentive and efficient, and the hot chocolate was delicious and huge! Very excited to return."

"Delicious! I love that they have coffee drinks you can order separate from the desserts, so someone ordering cake thing is not blocking you from your caffeine fix. The fruit tart was very fresh, I always check the fruit tarts at new bakeries because sometimes bakeries will put out older fruit but make it look nicer with red gel on strawberries and powder sugar to cover spots-- but this fruit was so nice, unblemished, really perfect and A LOT of it. Some places have a fruit tart and it is a small wedge of kiwi, 1/2 a strawberry and a few blueberries. Not this place! Sherlyn's has a fruit salad with a tart under it. 👌 They have gelato and you can get an affogato- the summer "it" drink of gelato with a shot of espresso on it! Rainbow cookie evaluation: tastey, and different variety than other places. Thin on the cookie part, more raspberry and chocolate ratio. I like it. Not everyone will though, people get weird about their rainbow cookies in this neighborhood! Their flan looks incredible, I plan to try it at some point."
