"A corner gem in LIC. Don’t mistake this for just another corner café. The menu offerings and actual food is diverse and delicious. I ordered the fish (flounder) platter with rice & beans, salad, and avocado. I couldn’t believe the generous portion that arrived at the table for the price I paid. My son ordered chicken tacos and we shared an order of shrimp tempura. The latter is uniquely drizzled with sauces you don’t normally find on tempura but surprisingly goes nicely with it! While I was eating, numerous regulars poured in and the owner and staff knew all of them. People coming thru the door welcomed by a warm greeting - hard to find these days. There are also fresh pastries and desserts. I ordered an ube latte and large chocolate chip cookie. When I asked the owner where they bought the cookies from, he replied, “oh, we bake them here (what?!). Nice. Check them out!"

"There are many different items on this menu, so there is something for everyone. I had the chicken parm which was pretty solid. The rueben was really good. DONT waste your money on the sides. Mash is a 2/10. Instant mash and it was Super grainy. And the hashbrown is a cavendish patty. Otherwise, food is great"

"Place has really good breakfast/brunch. Prices are affordable, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. Service is nice and place is clean. Would definitely go back when in the area. Their tiramisu latte was also really good, its a new items on their menu. Plus everything is halal."

"What a great halal spot, ma shaa Allah. Ordered the burrata BLT and half chicken with rice and salad. They were both solid dishes - flavourful and tasted really fresh. The man at the cashier was super friendly as well, always greeting customers with a smile. Wishing this place lots of success, in shaa Allah!"

"I tried the Reuben and the strawberry rose iced matcha. The sandwich was fire, steaming hot and served within minutes, perfect ratio of meat to bread, and the bread itself was fresh and delicious. I could’ve used more sauerkraut but that’s a personal preference."
