"Best cafe downtown imo, great coffee & lattes and the bagels are great to! On top of flavor and quality I feel like this place is best bang for your buck among coffee shops in Albany. Service is always good and fast even during the rushes. I just wish this place was open on the weekends(i know the uptown one is im js)"

"I go here multiple times a week because I work at the plaza. Usually the people toasting bagels are extremely pleasant when I ask them to toast my bagel a little extra than “dark” what it says on the receipt. Just one extra round of toasting isn’t enough usually they can slow the toaster down or out it in 3 rounds for me. Today 11/12/25 there was this girl I haven’t seen before in a blue uncommon grounds beanie and darker skin tone. She was extremely rude and snapped at me when I politely asked if I could have it extra extra dark. It wasn’t even busy, she just seemed angry and just unpleasant for no reason. Luckily there was a nice girl who did it for me but that was horrible customer service."

"Disappointing experience at the Albany Airport Uncommon Grounds. I asked to buy the remaining three plain bagels and was told they could not be sold because “we are not a bakery” and only sell bagel sandwiches. Rigid policy and poor customer service, especially when the food was already made and likely going to waste."

"My 3rd time trying a breakfast sandwich and my last. It was gross! They slopped too much condiments on them. There is no balance. When you unwrap it, it's just a wet gross bagel, wilted wet spinach, avocado and pesto everywhere. The egg was also ice cold. I've talked to people in my office and we all agree. I can't see them staying in business for long."
