from Google & Yelp"Stopped in for lunch at Cafe Madison on northern blvd. With my god mother Rhoda Small Actually my first time coming here. Cute and clean cafe. We stopped in around 1 pm So they were still busy from the lunch crowd. But we were served quick. And our food was served fast. I even mentioned to my godmother how fast the food was served. What was order Nat- sausage, egg, cheddar cheese on toasted cinnamon raisin bread. With a side of home fries My godmother - pancakes, bacon & eggs My sandwich was good. But the bread was toasted a little too much to my liking. The home fries were really good tho. I love how small the potatos are cut . And cooked well. Def the star of the show. My godmother enjoyed her food but she LOVED the pancakes. Said they were light, fluffy and hot. Def a spot I would return to . Nice lil vibe, friendly staff & fast service Perfect for breakfest & lunch dates. Have you been to any of their locations? What’s your favorite thing on the menu ?"
"Floors here are concrete and their chairs make a ton of noise whenever people move them. Of course we're trying to enjoy our breakfast and the staff are rearranging tables. Instead of picking up the chairs and placing them down they drag them across the floor. Waitress messed up one of our orders, but did offer to fix it. Food is ok, it's mostly style over substance. Everything looks nice and pretty but taste kinda bland. I got the fried chicken French toast and the chicken tasted like bland bagged Tyson chicken. I used to go here all the time and they've gone down hill on food quality The Albany location and other diners are much better."
"Had to wait a bit to get seated although the restaurant was not full. Great service once we were seated and the food was delicious"
"Tuesday brunch @10am Ambiance (5/5): The decor is so cute! It was nicely lit and open with several booths on one side and table seating on the other. Service (5/5): We had no problems getting seated and serviced throughout our meal. There were few in attendance on a random weekday. Seasonal Special: Croissant Beni $17 (5/5) which had a poached egg on a croissant. Interestingly, the dish sat on top of the hollandaise sauce rather than it drizzled on top. I requested for the house fries to be cooked well-done and it was indeed delivered as such! The fries were seasoned well and had a superior crunch to them! Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes $7 (4/5): I wish we had the ability to ask for a single stack because the 2 for $7 was way too much for us in a sitting. We left with 1 whole pancake untouched. Sadly one of the pancakes was meager in blueberry ratio."
"Love this place for a weekend brunch. Expect a wait, but it's worth it. If you don't want to wait sometimes there are available seats at the bar that you can get quickly. Staff are friendly. Food is yummy (bit pricey, but where isn't these days?) and there is a good selection of dishes and drinks to try if you go here more than once."
"Had a fabulous lunch at Iron Gate Cafe this past Saturday! We used the wait list which was fantastic... very accurate with the timing of our table being..."
