"Great beers outstanding service and good food. I had the appetizer sampler and the drunken stuffed jalapeños. Everything was fried in beer batter, which was great. Normally I find places that only use batter the oil tastes dirty which was not the case here. Everything was fried to perfection. The stand outs were the chicken strips, pickles, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken strips were Memphis hot style with a great seasoning that was a little spicy they were cooked well not overdone. The pickles were whole spears which was great. I've never had fried pickels that way but I think the ratio of pickle to batter would be off if they used chips. The jalapeño poppers were very good, I wish they left more seeds and membrane to add some more heat. The sauce was outstanding sweet and tangy. But since the poppers were so mild it didn't really work as intended until you got to the last bite near the stem (where it's more difficult to remove the membrane). If the whole popper had that same spice level they would be even better than they already are. They had a great beer selection and offered to can tap beer or fill growlers. According to the bar bartender they offer brewery tours "whenever someone is working in the brewery." Overall a great experience and I'll definitely be back."

"Great Basin you need to do better. I have been a local for a long time and your food has gone way down hill. I just got a togo order and let me tell you was I shocked at the price. I was even more shocked when I got home and looked at my food. I have always ordered the Mac and cheese and a side of barley chicken. I got a 1/2 order of the Mac this time because last time there was so much. Well barely any Mac and cheese for 15 bucks and the side of barley chicken you charge me 6$ for was burnt and flavorless . I have been coming here forever. This may be the last time. I was throughly dissatisfied. My mother-in-law told me the last two times she’s gone there It’s been absolutely horrible. I said really I’ve noticed there’s been issues here and there, but overall I still go there. She really liked your food. She will not even eat there now. I am starting to feel the same. I have been a frequent patron since you opened. There is no way this meal should have cost me 23$.. This pic is on a salad plate… Do better!!!"
