from Google"GREAT Italian restaurant in an unexpected location. The waiter was very friendly, Wonderful Old Fashioned, the lobster ravioli was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo and that was great as well. Highly recommend."
"We’re new to the area and have been exploring all the fun restaurant options this city has to offer. Gambi’s had amazing reviews and absolutely did not disappoint. We were a little hesitant when we first pulled up because of it’s location in an industrial area off the freeway that looks like it might be part of the Best Western, but once we walked inside, we were so pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed date night. It felt upscale without being stuffy, and we were comfortable from the moment we walked in. We started with the calamari and Cadillac margaritas. The calamari was seasoned perfectly, and the homemade marinara had just the right amount of spice. The margaritas were strong but still smooth and tasty. For our main course, my husband ordered the ribeye and I ordered the cioppino. We cleared our plates which is rare for me — everything was that good. What really made the difference, though, was the service. Our wait staff gave us great recommendations, kept great conversation, and made sure our drinks were always full. We truly felt well taken care of. The chef even came out to speak with us, which made us feel especially welcomed and appreciated. We can’t wait to come back!"
"My wife and I stumbled upon this absolute must go to place. The food is outrageously phenomenal. They make from an old family recipe the best ragu and marinara i have ever had. The meatballs are life changing. The tiramisu is incredible. And best of all, most all of the dishes and desserts are made in-house. This is the best Italian food I have ever had in a restaurant. Our server Yajaira (Yaya) was perfect, and the chef, Spencer, did an outstanding job. They both were warm and super friendly with great recommendations as to what to have. If you do not make your way to this family owned gem, you are truly missing out on one of life's great treasures."
"Went to Gambi's for the first time and we were thoroughly impressed. We love the decor, skeletons everywhere, and tastefully done. Our server, Yahaira, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and made some good suggestions since it was our first visit. We had the bread basket, which actually comes with refills! The gnocchi with Alfredo and chicken was the best! We also had the lobster ravioli which comes with a sauce that was on the sweeter side, but still really good. The penne a la vodka with shrimp was really tasty, and the cheese tortellini with Alfredo is also highly recommended. Get the tiramisu or the kahlua cake (an old family recipe). Spencer, the chef, came out and talked with us and was super friendly. You can tell he cooks with love. Hoping this restaurant is here for a long time because we will definitely be back!"
"Unique Atmosphere of swashbuckling pirates and large screen TVs with sports broadcasting is odd, but cool. If you want something private/romantic, probably not here, as it's a single large dining area. Server was friendly. Food was very good. Ranging from $15 - $40 a plate. Bonus points to the bartender, as I requested a jalapeno infused margarita (not on menu) and he made it perfectly. Overall I highly recommend, and will return."
