What People Are Saying
from Google"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Breakfast & Coffee at Walden’s Coffeehouse! Had breakfast here today and everything was fantastic! I started with the huevos rancheros — crispy flour tortilla topped with their house turkey chili, pinto and chickpeas, shredded cheddar, fresh cilantro, guacamole, and two over-easy eggs 🍳🌶️. Rich, flavorful, and very filling — definitely worth it if you want something hearty to start your day. #BreakfastReno #SavoryStart The avocado toast was next level — toasted squaw bread with smashed avocado, housemade hummus, roasted tomatoes, feta cheese, red onion, and crunchy pistachios. It’s fancy, satisfying, and perfectly balanced between creamy and fresh. #AvocadoToast #BestInTown And the coffee? 👌 Solid. The house drip coffee hit the spot for a quick caffeine fix ☕️. If you want something a little sweeter or more indulgent, their lattes are excellent too — rich, smooth, and expertly pulled with organic, locally roasted beans. #CoffeeLovers #OrganicCoffee What makes Walden’s even better is the warm, welcoming vibe and attentive service — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick coffee break. I left satisfied, energized, and already thinking about my next visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great breakfast and excellent coffee in Reno! #RenoEats #CafeVibes #BreakfastSpot #CoffeeAndBrunch #HighlyRecommended 🍳🥑☕✨"
"Walden’s Coffeehouse – A Local Favorite for Breakfast and Coffee in Reno Walden’s Coffeehouse is a beloved local franchise with three branches in Reno, each offering a cozy spot for breakfast, brunch, and coffee. I visited the West Reno location, which has built a strong following as a go-to neighborhood brunch place. The café is decorated in an old-fashioned style with cute, quirky wall decorations, creating a relaxed and homey vibe. The ordering process is casual—customers grab both a dining menu and drink menu before heading to the cashier to place their order. Popular choices include the breakfast burritos and panini-style sandwiches, which are consistently recommended. I tried the Macwalden, made with an English muffin, house-made sausage patties, egg, and sharp cheddar. It was hearty and flavorful, the kind of sandwich that makes mornings feel complete. I also tried the Smash Walden, featuring avocado smash and Monterey Jack cheese. A single bite revealed layers of rich flavor, with the strong, satisfying aroma of melted cheese—truly energizing to start the day. For drinks, I went with an 8 oz macchiato, but it came with so little milk that it didn’t even fill the cup, leaving me a bit disappointed—it felt like poor value compared to other options. The space itself is versatile: there are tables with plug-ins that make it convenient for working, though the background music can occasionally be on the louder side. For those who prefer the outdoors, there’s a warm and sunny patio area that’s also pet-friendly, perfect for enjoying coffee in the fresh air. Parking is ample, so it’s easy to visit without hassle. --- Final Thoughts Walden’s Coffeehouse is a solid Reno favorite for hearty breakfast plates, sandwiches, and coffee. While not every drink hits the mark, the food is flavorful and filling, and the atmosphere makes it a comfortable stop whether you’re working, socializing, or simply enjoying brunch with your pup in the sun."
"AMAZING!!! So glad we drove a little out of the way to stop here. I went with the smoothered burrito and boy did not disappoint. It was so good and the amount of food more than made it worth the price!"
"The Corrito burrito was fresh and super hearty. The staff are very friendly too. 5 stars 🌟"
"Great breakfast burritos, especially with carnitas, friendly staff, and food was ready in a timely manner for how busy the place was. The burrito was huge with all the options. Cheese was cold within the burrito, not what I prefer, but it was still flavorful. Lots of seating options, tables are packed close, and during peak times it would be hard to find a spot. Employees were working hard and still had the energy to treat the customers with kindness while there was a wait for food. Overall, I'd come back and get it again."
