from Google"Have drunk at Viking Mike's Alpine Yurt Bar several times since its December 2025 debut, primarily because one of my favorite bartenders, Camille Razo, is the lead creative behind the cocktails. Free non-alcoholic tipple for all as a welcome, tasted like a fruit clinging to its branch in ice-cold wintertime. Yggdrasil ($17): Herbaceous combined with sour fruit. Mikkel-Tai ($18): Delivered via a custom Viking head tiki mug (available for sale). Crisp, herbal, and floral. Alexander Skarsgård ($16): Holiday cheer in a glass, warm spices, cocoa, and honey. All pretty powerful. Interesting wine list too. Snacks also served. Steak on Sticks ($12): Two skewers piercing three meat chunks apiece. Very juicy, medium-rare doneness, horseradish pour on the plate had a good kick, delicious small bite. Cheese Plate ($16): Four types of cheese which get rotated, along with about five pieces of strong Vesta-baked grain bread, three apiece of gherkins and jalapeños, and a cup of fruit compote. Could wish for more on the plate, but great flavors. Value: Super for the liquids. Food though priced a trifle high for the volume. Atmosphere: Immersive as a shelter for lost mountaineers that happens to be yurt-shaped, rather than as Viking longhouse. Awesome structure of wood and stone, chilly antlered antechamber, the second yurt bar, and glittering Northern Lights above the front bar. The facilities were just as themed, with flickering lights, wood framed mirrors, and rough hewn stone basins. But do not expect axe-wielding strapping warriors nor shield-toting buxom blondes; it's not that kind of place. Music further avoided descending into parody, being more of the modern variety. Nb-the horns and hides on the walls and speakers are ethically sourced. Service: Quite cheerful and professional from Cami, Kate, and Gabe."
"Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. I loved all 5 drinks I tried even the espresso martini. ( I don’t like coffee). The steak skewers were fantastic. Bree was a fantastic bartender. Short review but it’s just a solid place. Would recommend to anyone"
"Intimate, dim space. Great for small parties of 2-4 (standing around the yurt bar isn't a thing, everyone seems to need a seat). Very dim, excellent service, RSVP recommended but not necessary, with walk-in still require the host to seat/place you. The front area differs from the back yurt bar area, where we were placed as walk-ins. Prices aren't extremely overwhelming which means some locals could still enjoy it. Love that a bar of this caliber is in local Vegas (Arts District). This place is polished, not commercialized and tacky like many local places, with the space designed well to be cozy, and semi-vibrant. Maybe a certain music genre is needed to make it upbeat. Not a bar lounge for dancing. Definitely a more intimate type place to catch up over drinks and snacks. For local Vegas, this place is A+ and considered a destination bar (where locals would be willing to travel a distance for). For LA LA or big city folks, this place would be a normal popular and local everyday spot like wurskucte in LA arts district; nothing crazy, just simple and comfortable in vibes, decent quality drinks and food. This bar is probably the 1st bar I could say I actually fully overall like in local Vegas right now!!! Rebar comes pretty close but it's different. This is coming from a bar snob who was living in LA LA, and whose work use to include exploring bars to lounges in LA LA. Service and Experience -- We were each given one of their drinks without alcohol as a palatte cleaner. Everyone was offered water and they actually did come around the refill the water. Everyone in our party seems to have enjoyed their cocktail, and beer. The end bill came with 1 swedish fish snack for each person. Service was excellent. The beginning welcome and goodbye by all staff around and then hostesses was a nice charming touch. Tip -- If you're trying to find the viking poop, go to the yurt 1 restroom located in the back, small hallway. It's almost impossible to find which door out of the 3 is the restroom haha Looking forward to what this venue becomes over time. They seem to have gotten it down!! Hope the last for years in local Vegas!! In the past year, there seems to be a new bar lounge popping up in the arts district. Great for the neighborhood! But sadly, many of us know what the deal is.....many of them are for tourists, not locals. The turnover rate of businesses is pretty high. Vegas also isn't densely populated, so most locals end up crowding very particular places over and over again."
"This place was awesome. We walked in on opening day unaware that this place existed. A+ vibe and great drinks. They had two vegetarian items as well (cheese platter and a potato thing). We will definitely return next time we are in town and go to our favorite neighbor in Vegas!"
"Unique new addition to the arts district. Service was great and the drinks were very good. Not cheap, but not overpriced for quality cocktails. Definitely worth a visit. Bathroom lines backup a little at times, but that is the only negative thing I can say."
