"This place is all about the drinks and the atmosphere. Super great tiki bar, great inside, amazing high-end artisan cocktails, the service was amazing. It's a small place so don't be surprised if you go there and it's real tough to get in, but way worth going. Trust me, little tough to find parking, again I drive a giant truck, which makes it tough to park. But way worth the time, there's no food service here, but that's beside the point of coming here."

"My boyfriend took me to Vegas for the first time on Halloween and insisted we go check this place out, and I am so glad we did! The ambiance was amazing and I had one of the best cocktails I've ever tried here. Everyone was so friendly and kind and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. What really stands out with Stray Pirate though is the customer service. While we were visiting my boyfriend spotted their skull cup and loved it, so I ordered him one as a gift. I noticed that it has said it was waiting to be received by UPS for about a week and a half so I reached out and heard back from someone named Chris. They explained that they were waiting for the supplier to restock the cups and would ship it ASAP. They checked in with me and updated me every few days on where everything was at with the cup, and once shipped I got it within 3 days! They also followed up to make sure I had received it and it was okay, and they included one of their awesome pins! I was so impressed with their customer service and how kind and helpful Chris was! Truly an amazing experience with them start to finish and we already can't wait to go back on our next trip!"

"Aesthetically the bar is 100% amazing! The screens behind the bar are very clever. The decor is on point but that is where it ends. The service, leaves a lot to be desired. I get its a cocktail bar, which can mean a wait for your drinks but, 2 staff members on 1 took our order and another made all 3. None of which were hard (Vodka Soda, Rum and Coke, Vodka Redbull) yet I was losing the will to live they took that long! It wasnt busy in there at all so it should never have taken as long as it did. Maybe the other 2 servers could have helped instead of being engrossed in their own conversations. Not a great first impression tbh and doesnt inspire me to return."

"Goonies and dog lovers unite at the Stray Pirate off Commerce in Downtown Las Vegas! Once you step through the door, you're transported into a scallywag's dream hideaway, complete with drinks and delights. The menu is expansive and they have a rum list worth checking out, and they have a great selection of zero proof cocktails too! I absolutely purchased a lapel pin to commemorate my visit."

"My partner and I came in on a Thursday evening before our dinner reservation. We both love tiki bars and have been wanting to check this place out. The menu is extensive, sorted by drink strength, and I loved that they have a low sugar menu. We ordered the Skinny Mai Tai and Goonies Never Say Die, both were excellent and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was so fun and detailed and our drinks came out quickly. We would have stayed for another drink but the gentleman at the service well was pretty off putting. I’ve been in the industry for most of my life so I get being stressed but the bar was very slow with two other couples there at the time. We felt a bit out of place as soon as we walked in. I said hello before sitting down, one bartender was speaking with guests but the other stared blankly. He gave us menus and came back a minute later asking if we knew what we wanted. When I asked for a little more time (menu is long), he stared and didn’t say anything. Overall the strange service made us feel unwelcome."
