"We came to Market Street Café specifically to try the famous oxtail soup, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We did have about an hour-long wait, but once we were seated, everything moved quickly. Our order was taken right away, and soon enough we had our soup and a burger on the table. The oxtail soup was delicious. The meat fell right off the bone, and the broth was rich and full of flavor. I personally would have loved it to be hotter, since it came out more on the lukewarm side. I’m not sure if that’s intentional because they’re so busy and want to keep things moving, but either way, the flavor was incredible. The burger, on the other hand, was just okay and nothing particularly special. The service was wonderful, and the ambiance was great. The place was filled with so many local Hawaiian families that it made the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, worth the visit for the oxtail soup alone!"

"Since 1975, this 24-hour diner has catered to Hawaiian travelers and longtime locals, helping downtown Vegas earn the nickname “the Ninth Island.” It’s known for island-style comfort food like loco moco, Spam and eggs, fried gyoza, and its most famous dish—oxtail soup."

"This place is a 24h Hawaiian Restaurant. I came here with a group to try the famous oxtail soup (served 11pm- 6am). There is a wait time so be prepared. The oxtail soup broth was flavorful and the portion size was moderate with lots of fall-off-da bone oxtail. I couldn't finish the whole thing, so I took it to-go and it actually tastes better the next day when reheated. The atmosphere and service was average (not the same aloha spirit-I guess just food inspired). For drinks they stated that we had to order from the casino servers not at the restaurant, which was inconvenient, especially if you want a Hawaiian Sun juice with your meal. I wanted to their butterfish, but maybe next time when it is available."

"After enjoying some shopping on Fremont Street, we were looking for a place to grab lunch and ended up finding this spot. I'd been eating hamburgers non-stop for days and really wanted something different, so this restaurant was perfect. I ordered the Asian Combo Noodle. I expected three small bowls with different noodles, but all the flavors were combined on one plate. The toppings were a mix of shrimp, shumai, kamaboko (fish cake), and char siu (BBQ pork)—ingredients that Asians would definitely never combine on a single plate! For some reason, the shumai tasted like gyoza! Each ingredient tasted good on its own, but they had absolutely no harmony together, almost like they were representing the relationship between Japan and China! Anyway, it was delicious, and it was my first time eating Asian noodles in America. My bodyguard's hamburger steak was surprisingly delicious! The sauce was really good – I wish I had ordered that instead! The salad was tasty too, but it was way too much for two people. We just got a little carried away ordering so much since we were in Vegas, but it's all part of the good memories!"
