"You need to know about Zingerman’s coffee. Originally from Zingerman’s deli in Ann Arbor, MI, it’s expanded and can be found by the bag and at Plum Market (like Sprouts only better) all over metro Detroit. I used to bring it back with me every time I visited (I’m from Detroit). Derek Stevens has created The D as a love letter to Detroit (also his hometown) and when I tell you that I put Zingerman’s coffee up against all the best roasters in Vegas: Mothership, Vesta, Makers & Finders… I mean it’s probably just as good as Yaw. Which is high praise. It’s not cheap because you’re dealing with casino prices but then again I spent $8 on a matcha at mothership recently, so prices are just out of control across the board. But if you’re downtown in the Fremont Street area and looking for the absolute BEST coffee…get a cup of Zingerman’s at the D and thank me later ."

"After a long day of travel, went to get a cup of coffee - I was greeted by Mia, who is exemplary. She took time to talk to me, and even in a casino full of people made me feel like I was the only person there. The next morning, I came down for a cuppa coffee, Mia was there who gave me equal, if not better service the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of her, her coworkers were absolutely wonderful as well. I believe one was Rosie. As a business owner myself, Someone who can deliver Outstanding client service Needs to be recognized each and every time. Thank you Mia for making me look forward to getting my coffee every day and having an exceptional time. Keep up the outstanding work."

"I ordered a couple plain bagel with cream cheese and asked for it not to be toasted. I wanted something to snack on while I walked around. I waited 10 min and got an everything bagel toasted. When I tired to tell them my order was wrong they asked for my receipt to prove it. I had paid cash and hadn’t gotten a receipt. They had to work harder to screw my order up than they would’ve had to for what I actually paid for."

"As my girlfriend & I were casually strolling around one morning I noticed there was a coffee stand located inside the Casino. I ordered an Espresso Macchiato which is only suppose to contain a little bit of milk which is suppose to be foamed. I received a solo shot of espresso, w/ room temperature steamed milk thus forming a latte... I’d at least expect my barista to know the basics. Definitely won’t be coming back."

"The only thing special about this coffee is the high cost. I regret walking a couple blocks to come here. They have limited milks available so unless you want half and half you will be paying even more. Staff was rude, too. There was no line to order when I went which I now understand."
