from Google"Now with two Las Vegas locations, long after franchises debuted in Florida decades ago, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has been serving the Big Island for over forty years with a name that plays homage to burrows that carried Beans down the mountains in the 19th century. Part of “the 9th Island” since 2022 on West Charleston, the menu expanding with time to include specialty Lattes and Breakfast Sandwiches on King’s Hawaiian Rolls, fans of Hawaiian Coffee will find several blends as well as 100% Kona by the cup. Far better sourced than Dutch Bros or Starbucks, a few Koolers and Smoothies a sign of modern times, Cold Brew is smooth with soft acidity and doesn’t dilute thanks to frozen Coffee Ice Cubes while “Twisted Malasada Donuts” served warm are soft, springy and not overly sweet thanks to an abundance of Cinnamon."

"First time here was excited to try this bad ass coffee. The window attendant shared some options as a newby I chose hot 3 waves sz medium cost over 6 bucks the drink was hot the flavor average was not blown away by the quality or taste of the specialty drink. Maybe it’s better iced the after taste was wicked like burnt and bitter. Happy I tried unfortunately for me not worth it if that’s the fan fave specialty not positive it can get any better from what I just tried. 2/10 for me."
"I ordered the 3 wave coffee, I would’ve liked it without the ice coffee and just regular coffee. I do feel it made the coffee more bitter. I also ordered the big one breakfast sandwich which was amazing. So much flavor, I would’ve never thought to mix pineapple with eggs but man..it’s a game changer. The customer service was sorry to say but bad. She was not too kind and when asked questions the answers were short and not too friendly."
"Okay I used to be a Dutch Bros girl. When I found this place I was sooo happy. I realized at other coffee shops I was going to, they turned my coffee into an icey out of a machine. Like a slushy. I was mortified by that. Especially for the prices we pay, It was distasteful to see my coffee prepared like that. It made it seem cheap and fake. Not to mention the weight it was putting on me. Extra sugar extra sugar!!! Helloo..... No! I would like to point out as well with all other coffee shops with their DMV wait lines and inflated prices for chocolate milk w energy shots in it, and thats if they make it right or being attacked by bees in the pick up windows from all the sugar and sweet. Not to mention the uncomfortable tipping options. Dont they get paid hourly? Tips are options not a demand! Thats not part of the price paid for my food and beverages. The food at other coffe shops are premade or powder eggs warmed up in a microwave sent from a distributor responsible for creating fast empty nutritional value in a bite size breakfast that was over in 3 bites if lucky. Okay so I find badass right down the street, so I tried them. Oh My God! It tasted like heaven. Iced or hot dont matter it always comes out fresh. I can smell Hawaii in the Kona. The taste has a bite but not too thick and sweetened to perfection 👌. The ice in the coffee is brewed coffee turned into ice so as not to water your drink down. The food is always fresh, i noticed the comments below, they have dramatically improved because those experiences are on another planet as far as my experiences. I visit 4x a week. The food is filling, portions for sandwiches are huge compared to other places. The food warms my insides like a hug from a teddy bear. This experience i have everytime I visit, the people, the coffee, customer care taken with white glove treatment. These guys deserve the tips and business. They are the real deal. Once u try you wont go anywhere else. Your welcome everyone. Mahalo."
