"The bakery was very nice. my wife is Danish and the owners spoke Danish to her, they are wonderful and polite. The food is very good. The rolls are exactly like the ones in Denmark. Definitely going back. The pastries were excellent as well."

Beautifully crisp and flaky on the outside and the perfect texture on the inside. Also tried the cheese danish and the oatmeal raisin cookie. Everything I got was very good. I also got a loaf of sourdough bread. If you love sourdough that is actually sour and not the store-bought stuff, you need to check this place out. I heard from a reliable source that they use a mother dough from one of the original bakeries in San Francisco before they all went corporate. From what I understand, they make sourdough on Thursday and Saturday. Stop by and grab a loaf; you will not be disappointed! Give this local spot a try and you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a quiet spot to read a book in the morning, they have a nice little seating area inside their shop, steps off of water street."
