"My friend recommended this location as it was my first time and he had enjoyed it last time. It was really busy when we came but thankfully we got the bar seat. Service was on point, no complaints. Here’s what we ordered: Boom bang savory star: very dry because there was not enough pesto and marinara sauce inside. They gave oil on the side as a dip instead of butter, pesto sauce, or marinara sauce (any of these would have paired better). Vegetable lasagna: first bit was undercooked but second bite the white pesto sauce tasted delicious. It took 40 minutes to make, but it was smaller than expected for the amount of time it took to make and for the price. Recommended fully boiling the lasagna otherwise it’s uncooked in the middle and sides. Bucatini Putanesca: my friend enjoyed this dishes as the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Tomatoes were a bit chunky which was perfect. Parmesan paired well with capers and lemon (this is new). Carrot cake: not a huge fan but this was definitely the best carrot cake we have ever had! It’s huge, moisty, full of frosting on top and sides, and sprinkled with toasted coconut. I would come back just for this as it’s the highlight of the night. The frosting was truly heart warming."
