"My bride and I are new to the area, and had little experience with the level of cuisine in the area. We wanted a place that paired simplistic and comfortable with leveled-up plates, drinks, and service. All it took was a brunch at John’s place to recognize we potentially had our location, and after a few visits to enjoy the music over some meals we realized that potential was confirmed. When we reached out to John and Cari to sit and plan, it was like meeting with good friends. They were spectacular - professional, easy going, and spot on in understanding our needs for the post-wedding meal in the Swan Room. Our Chef’s tasting meal was at a private table with prime service and solid discussion, and from there Chef and the team put it all together. Our signature drinks, our meal and the event logistics, all of it was worked through with ease and skill. The event? Magical, and this isn’t some hype - not one issue came to bear, other than trying to keep the kiddos from running all over the place but even then the service dodged and weaved like Riverdancers. Lori and I agree that we picked the perfect setting to share our day at, and trust me when I tell you that if you make a reservation and they have short ribs on the menu DO NOT OVERTHINK IT.
