"Usually the Birria is a flawless concoction. It’s delicious in every single way. The last month, whoever has been cooking it has not been making it genuine. I’m getting chicken noodle soup consistency. Its been tasting like beef water. There has been no genuine “birria” to the Birria. It’s becoming rather disappointing. This is the only menu item I look forward to on the weekends because before, it used to be perfection. Now it’s garbage."

"Sopes are not served as it should be. The chef placed the sope with beans, meat, and cream and then, on top of them, they threw an entire salad with lettuce, big slices of tomatoes and onions. That is not a sope. Please, with all the respect, google a sope recipe and follow it. It’s awful to buy a fake sope. We’re looking for the authentic Mexican food. I promise you that the recipe was less complicated than what you served to us. The salsas were not hot at all. The chicharrones were ok and the ceviche tostada fine. We bought bolillos and ham. I’ll tell you later about the choco flan and the sweet camote. I will still come back because this store is awesome, full of Hispanic yummies. You will not get rid of me. I support Latin businesses. The service was fast and super friendly. That’s the best if this store, its people. They are super nice people… all areas. They treated me with respect and attention. ¡Gracias!"

"Trying to get help at the counter for the food is a complete joke. They are normally pretty busy but like most stores they ignore food delivery and anyone else standing patiently waiting for their food. I guess the food here is tasty but the service is just way to slow for anyone trying to do things in regular time. I’d stay away from orders here is you are a Gigi worker because with only going to crush your bottom line. If your in the area you might take these orders but it’s only for dead times because they give no shots about timely delivery"
