from Google"The service was good. The food maybe slightly better than typical old casino food. The air quality was pretty bad. If you want to go to an old casino and you don't mind the strong smell of cigarette smoke while you eat, then I think it's just fine, but I can't recommend it."
"Arguably the best value for a good breakfast in town and while I haven't tried their lunch or dinner plates, looking at their specials, I can tell you they are a great deal too. The portions are big, the service is friendly and fast and it certainly doesn't hurt that the food is tasty too! When we come, I typically get their Chicken Fried steak or Pork Verde as it comes with beans, tortillas and pico and my wife usually gets the Super French Toast with sausage links. Of course, if you're really looking to save some money, they do have $7.99 breakfast specials that'll fill you up as well. I should note there are ads on the table and around the casino for $24.99 10 oz Ribeye and 8 oz Prime Rib for just $16.99 or a 12 oz for just $23.99 and I do plan on giving them a try soon too. Now, even though this restaurant is in a casino, I have to say that it really has a warm feel and tons of local charm with retro wallpaper that highlights the history of Carson City and they really are a lot of fun to look at. Needless to say, this is definitely a place I would recommend dining at whether you're a local or just passing though town."
"Betsy's Diner: A Sparkling Gem in a Not-So-Sparkling Setting Let's be honest, SlotWorld Casino itself isn't exactly winning any awards for ambiance. However, nestled inside this somewhat dated establishment is a true culinary treasure: Betsy's Diner. This place is a shining example of what a classic diner should be, and it completely transcends its less-than-glamorous surroundings. From the moment you step inside Betsy's, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely friendly service. The staff are attentive, efficient, and clearly take pride in what they do. They make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first visit. While I do wish they offered phone orders for takeout (it would be incredibly convenient), I understand the casino's perspective. They want foot traffic, and I'm sure no-shows on takeout orders have been a problem in the past. It's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. But let's talk about the real star of the show: the food. Betsy's menu boasts all the classic diner favorites, done exceptionally well. I've personally tried the French toast, which was perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the steak and eggs, a hearty and satisfying meal cooked exactly to my liking. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My mom raved about her Cobb salad, praising the generous portions and fresh ingredients. Everything tasted homemade and cooked with care. Betsy's Diner is a testament to the fact that you can find amazing food in unexpected places. It's a true hidden gem in Carson City. If you're looking for a delicious, classic diner experience with top-notch service and food that will leave you wanting more, look no further than Betsy's. Don't let the casino's exterior deter you – this diner is worth a visit, and I know I'll be back again and again while I'm in town. 4.4 stars"
