from Google"We dined here recently and found it to be tasty, good service and a nice menu! We had the soup, salad, chicken (Shish Taouk) and tried the baklava cheesecake. All was good. We had seen a place in Morocco where the meat was cooked "underground", like they do here in their "Earth Oven". That is the last picture in this review. We will dine here again"
"This place is absolutely phenomenal! We drove in from Ojo Caliente on our continued trip from Houston and found this place. We ordered the Lamb Shawarma and the hummus/baba ganoush etc plate and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming at all. I already want to go back and re-order their rice! It’s a bit chilly in there but tolerable. Ome was very attentive and friendly!"
"We stopped by this cozy little spot in Taos after a long drive, looking forward to a good Mediterranean dinner. The place itself has a warm and inviting vibe, and the host was very kind in accommodating us even without a reservation (it would help if the website mentioned that reservations are recommended). As for the food — while the presentation was nice, the overall taste didn’t quite live up to the hype. I’m a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine and have had some wonderful meals elsewhere, so expectations were naturally high. The fattoush salad, was extremely tangy, which should have been balanced and refreshing, the balance just wasn’t there, and we could barely finish it. The lamb shawarma had more of a brisket-like texture — shredded , where it is supposed to have crisp exterior and juicy that typically makes shawarma shine. The lamb shank, often the showstopper in such menus, and it was beautifully cooked — tender and well-marinated — but unfortunately, the sauce poured over it overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. It was overly tangy and took away from what could have been a great dish. The one thing we truly enjoyed was the hummus with pita bread, which was smooth, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, it’s a nice place with good service and potential, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations on flavor balance."
"I felt as though I was transported to an eatery in Lebanon. The food flavors were spectacular. I could smell the wood fire pine scent in the grilled meat as if I was enjoying a new fresh herb. Your palette will thank you."
"This place was great for a casual lunch. The food was delicious, especially the cauliflower. The rolls were a bit too dry for me, but both the lamb and pork were great. We sat on the porch because it had a nice breeze. The smoke from the oven eventually bothered my eyes a little, so be aware if you’re sensitive to that kind of issue."
