"Stopped here after a day of exploring. Pizza crust was very good and we tried some unique combos that turned out to be excellent. Alfredo pizza was my favorite! Also, the ranch is excellent with the pizza and salad."

"If you want to wait nearly 2 hours for a single 12" pizza, this is the place to go. My partner and I (who are both in the customer service/food industry) arrived right around 5:00pm, where we were told to take a seat wherever we wanted. The dining room had a few empty tables and was not overly full, but we know that doesn't mean anything. We sat, where it took about 5 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. We ordered and had our refill of water and started to recognize the classic tale of others receiving their food before us, even though we had arrived before them. But! We took that with a grain of salt and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, after an hour and a half of waiting, I went in line to find out how much longer our food was going to take. The only other time we interacted with our waitress after that refill, was in that line -when she asked to step around me. I reached the counter and asked how much longer, where a woman then pointed to a pizza and said, "I think this is your pizza, it should be coming out to you soon". At that point, it was 6:35 and we were hangry. We agreed to wait but it then turned into another ten minutes. In those minutes, I wanted to read some reviews to see if it was just a fluke. I was sadly disappointed by how this business had responded to some other reviews, even calling a guest a "prick" when the review was not necessarily harsh. It turned us off, but we were trying so hard to be understanding. I went back to the line one more time. We heard other guests were having issues with their food, waiting just as long, and my girlfriend even heard some commotion from the back about their online orders. The second time I got to the counter, I mentioned it being nearly two hours since ordering where then the woman asked where I was sitting. I told her and felt brushed off because she then immediately began helping the next guest when I was not told a proper conclusion. We then decided it was time to leave. We understand people have bad days, have rough shifts, and things can go wrong. But this felt mostly like the crew was just having trouble with communication/understaffing. We feel for the employees and feel they may just lack supporting staff like table runners, an online delivery station or an updated gameplan. We would hope to try again but tonight it shall just be a meal from home."

"This pizza was delicious! My hubby and I ordered a slice each, huge! We both loved it! We sat on the patio under full shade with our two labs. Would definitely come back."

"The place was pretty dead on a Wed. Ordered a pizza to go. Very undercooked crust. Ingredients just thrown on pizza so that some had a ton of ingredients, whole others slices had just cheese. One of the staff creepily asked me to smile."

"Appalling. I write this as I stand next to a family waiting two hours and still hasn’t received their pizza. Their kids are at home and they have a drive back to Denver tonight, or they did. The staff behind the counter, no doubt stretched to their limits, couldn’t seem to care less - no update on timing, no apology. In fact, the response: “well these people have actually been waiting for over two hours”, with an air of absurd smugness, as they point to the grumbling crowd of un-fed who are regretting their night out in Taos, and silently competing to demonstrate their outer limits of civility. Others had cracked, leaving without paying their beer tab, mumbling disbelief as their stomachs growled in hanger. As for us, we got our pizza right around two hours…because the couple who left 10 minutes prior with their order returned, saying “this isn’t ours”, and after a quick clarification turned the box over to us, the rightful owners of a pre-handled and cold pizza. I say this as a local, who desperately would like to find a good quality in Taos Outback: this place should no longer be in business. It is an embarrassment, not just to itself but to the town. And if, while it somehow still is in business, and you are looking for a evening out and a nice bite at a casual local, you should absolutely take your time and money elsewhere. Anywhere but here."
