from Google"Kava and loose leaf teas are wonderful and allow for a sober relaxing "buzz." without the hangover or dangers from alcohol. Nice relaxing atmosphere to do work and read, study, or write during the day. Fun sober bar-like atmosphere at night with a really awesome open mic night every Tuesday and open decks every Saturday. Pinball machines are really fun too and they have a Pinball tournament every Thursday. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great space for sober plant medicinal relaxing vibes without the negative or harmful effects of alcohol."
"What a wonderful little gem we stumbled into, this spot is wicked laid back and complements the vibe and aesthetic of the surrounding area. Whether you are reading a book, playing games, or trying to meet new people, this alternative to a bar has it all. A diverse selection of teas and mind altering roots & leaves, you can choose your own adventure, but you should definitely start your trip here!"
"misleading and disappointing: i’m shocked there are any good reviews of this place (even though they give you a free drink if you leave a good review, apparently). the atmosphere is quite creepy with lots of customers being very high on something, maybe the “kratom” the bartender talked a lot about…? lots of shouting, dodgy characters, doesn’t feel safe or comfortable, loud dive bar music… definitely not a sober space with lots of clientele visibly high and sketchy. the “kava” was watery and made us both nauseous. do not be fooled by the name: i would not come here if you are looking for medicinal, healthy vibes. i wish santa fe had an actual kava place that respects the sacredness of the plant! this place is not respectful of the medicine they claim to serve. avoid if that’s important to you."
"I usually love coming here to hang out with friends—the atmosphere is great and the crowd is always really chill. Unfortunately, the past few visits have been disappointing because of the service. Most of the staff are fine, but the bartender with the black ponytail and beard has been consistently unfriendly. On our most recent visit, my husband and I felt like we were being given attitude the entire night. When we went up for another round, he was sitting and chatting instead of taking orders, and even when he made eye contact with us, he turned away. When he finally did come over, he was curt and dismissive. I’ve worked in the service industry for five years, so I fully understand how hard the job can be and that everyone deals with difficult customers. But in this case, we were polite, patient, and respectful—always saying please and thank you. It was frustrating that the experience still felt targeted and demeaning. I really do enjoy this place and don’t want one person to ruin the experience, but it’s hard not to when the service feels like this."
"Staff is friendly. Kinda expensive for just drinks but what isn’t in Santa Fe ? They have snacks and frozen pizzas if you are hungry. They have kratom happy hour often."
