"I was so excited to eat here for Christmas Eve and it fell below my expectations. The food was good, but I think overpriced for what it was. Yes, everything was cooked perfectly and looked great, but just lacked creativity. I needed something to impress me. I mean every dish had the same components, protein, a veggie, a veggie puree and crumble of some sort. I think it just missed the mark for being what $150 per person courses dinner should be. As for our waitress, she was not very attentive. When we sat down, we were given our menus without explanation of how dinner would proceed and after a few minutes she just asked what we wanted. She didn’t let us know about the Christmas cocktail. We also weren’t asked if we were okay with our steak med-rare like other guests were. And to add a 20% automatic tip at the end of service ($65) when zero effort was made by our server, was unfair to the customers. It was clear she knew she got the tip regardless and chose to provide no customer service for it. Very undeserved."

"One of the best restaurants in Santa Fe! The flavors and food quality, the service, and the atmosphere are second to none. It’s very “neighborhood” fine dining with fine techniques and presentation but with a cozy, welcoming feel. Our server was fun, friendly, and incredibly informative. Even the owner of the restaurant was intentional and kind, making her way around each table. We got the bread, the shrimp & chickpea appetizer, the beet salad, the vegetarian chef plate, the beef tenderloin & the chocolate molten cake with cinnamon ice cream. Everything was amazing - we especially loved the uniqueness of the vegetarian plate - it was creative and delicious. And the tenderloin is a dish that will live rent free in my mind for years to come. I highly recommend - as a visitor and local - it makes for a special meal & evening!"

"What a great location for our special night out. A perfect evening from start to finish. Beautiful patio. Great service. And the best duck I've ever had. My wife's salmon was equally amazing. Cooked to perfection. The scallops that came with her salmon tasted like they came straight from the ocean."

"Our group of five all enjoyed our beautifully prepared and delicious dishes : maple leaf farm duck breast, salmon with scallops, organic chicken breast, asparagus and shrimp appetizers …. I only wish we had an appetite for dessert! The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. We sat outside in the magical covered patio with thunder and lightning around us. We were offered blankets and inside seating but we were thrilled with the ambience, good vibes, and delectable food and drinks. Hats off the Chef Martin and his crew! Thank you for our most memorable and delicious night in Santa Fe!"

"I canceled three reservations before settling on Martin Restaurant, and I’m so glad I did. I chose it because it wasn't far from the concert I was attending afterward. When I arrived, the small parking lot was full, but I found a spot in the overflow lot down the street. Once inside, the restaurant felt like an old converted house—charming and cozy. The staff was warm and inviting, and I was seated right away for my 5 PM reservation. I didn’t realize it was Restaurant Week, so the menu was a well-curated but limited selection from their usual offerings. The service was impeccable, with perfectly timed courses, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I’d love to come back and treat my parents to a wonderful dining experience. 10/10!"
