"I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Ortiz. I was staying at the Hilton, so it was very convenient to dine at this restaurant. The buffet had french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, pastries, an omelette station, and more. I especially loved their special sunny side up eggs with beans and chilly. The breakfast was very high quality. The service was also excellent and attentive. Considering all the great food I got, the prices weren’t too bad. I highly recommend Ortiz for a great breakfast buffet."

"The place was freezing. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer but it came out the same time as the dinner order...and the cheese was cold. I ordered a soda and a water... never got the water. My wife had carnitas ..she said they were excellent. I ordered a plain fish sandwich and fries. I thought the lettuce, tomato and tartar would be on the side. I asked no cheese. When it arrived everything was on it..it was a mess. It was not crispy and it was cold. Fries were fine...no ketchup. Waiters were nice."

"My husband and I were walking up San Francisco St. and saw a welcome board inviting us for the Ortiz Daily Lunch Buffet. The food smelt amazing, but it was Indian Market, so we figured we would come back for dinner. To our surprise their new Executive Chef, Josh Ortiz, was offering a weekend dinner special, the Prime Rib. We both got the special and boy did we make the right decision! The prime rib was so tender and juicy, mashed potatoes were amazing and asparagus cooked to perfection! Cocktails were also very good! I ordered the Basil Hayden Blueberry Smash and my husband ordered an old fashion. Our waiter who was our bartender, Ryan, was excellent! The restaurant was full and Ryan still made sure everything was to our liking and made sure we and his other tables were completely taken care of. I will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family! I can’t wait to go back!!! You guys have a great team!"

"Had a lovely anniversary dinner at Ortiz. We sat in the lounge area at our favorite little table by the window, which has a beautiful view of the Cathedral. We chose this restaurant because we know that Chef Josh is one of the best cooks in Santa Fe. And he did not disappoint! Every bite; from the the calamari appetizer to the amazing ribeye steak and lobster was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere could have been enhanced by some music coming through the speakers (which was awkwardly lacking), but other than that it was pleasant. Overall, we're so happy we came here. You can go to more hyped up restaurants in town, but you won't find food this good."

"Food and service were both 10/10!! Went for dinner with my sister after traveling all day and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Ryan was our server/bartender and was super attentive the entire time. I had the Pork Ribeye and my sister had the 14oz Ribeye with drawn butter and fresh lemon. These were two of the best meals we've ever had! We also enjoyed some hot tea and local ice cream after dinner to complete the experience, both were fantastic! We will definitely be back when visiting Santa Fe again!"
