What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"Great place for owner-operated coffee roaster using premium equipment to roast frequently in small batches. The web site currently lists coffee from Brazil, Colombia, Congo, Ethiopia, Honduras, Kenya, Papua New Guinea and some blends. Odd Box is expanding. A third person comes on board next month."

"The owners were so kind to let us come in a get a double shot to get us going on our road trip. It was so so good. We will definitely go back next time and get a bag!"

"I was visiting Santa Fe and am always on the look out for nice specialty roasters that sell fruity light roasts. Happened to find OddBox from a review. I called ahead to check the owners availability for me to come pick up some beans since he basically is selling it out of his workshop without a real customer facing area. Tom was super nice, gave me a little tour made some recommendations for what beans he thought i would like based on what we talked about, and gave me some good recommendations for what to check out around town coffee-wise. Just cracked the bags open today at home and his light roast single origins are fantastic. The Kindeng from Papua New Guinea is a really bright red fruit forward cup. Made a great espresso at home with it. I also checked out a few of the coffee shops that were using his beans in town, and "Henry and the Fish" had one of his light roast blends on their espresso bar which was also fantastic. Highly recommend buying some beans online if you aren't in town. Or if you are checking him out in person."

"I've been ordering from Odd Box for a few months now and I can't overstate what a welcome addition it is to the local coffee scene. If you like light roast like I do, you probably know how hard it can be to find the kind of fruity, floral, bright coffee that scratches the itch in this town, where most other roasters (Iconik aside) cater to palates that prefer over-roasted beans. (Though if you prefer that, I'm sure Odd Box can do it just as well.) Tom's coffee competes with the best I've gotten from any roaster in the US, and he's also a just a great guy—you'll love chatting with him (over a complimentary shot of espresso) when you pick up your bags."
