What People Are Saying
from Google"Joseph’s is a must dine, whether you’re a local or tourist. Every time we dine here, the food/flavor is consistent, the service is excellent, and the quality of the ingredients never disappoints. The restaurant’s menu stands out from other places at the same level—it offers unique dishes while still highlighting New Mexican flavors. Seriously, there’s something for everyone in your party. We ordered the ratatouille, the chicken pasole, the enchilada, the pub burger, and finished with duck fat Carmel ice cream + an americano. I love that the staff is so well informed on the menu and wine list. They never steer us in the wrong direction! I can tell they care about the food they’re serving. + the atmosphere is magical, so warmly elegant—like dining in Nonna’s living room with a touch of fine-dining polish. S/O to Michelle our waitress, she was nothing short of impressive."
"Another great restaurant outside the public square within 10 mins walk. Service is good, servers are friendly, food taste savory and with good portion sizes. It's little congested inside as it is a popular spot. Reservation is recommended."
"We went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Reservations with a credit card are needed with indoor and outdoor seating available. We chose outdoor seating as the the tables and chairs looked very comfortable with one side being a bench with pillows so it was nice for our mom. Plus the noise level inside seemed a little louder because it isn't a very big place. We started with 2 salads, the curry lamb ribs and the tamal. All were absolutely delicious with the flavor on all very good and on point. The tomatillo sauce in the tamal had a great kick to it. For mains we had the veggie enchilada, the beef posole and the lamb burger with fries. Everything was simply amazingly delicious! We finished with the desserts which included the flan, the dark chocolate cake, the tree leches cake and the butterscotch pudding which was recommended by our waiter. I like pudding but hace never ordered it at a restaurant...if you go definitely try the butterscotch pudding. It was the best dessert hands down. The duck fat caramel on top was just so yummy and added a depth to the pudding which by itself was good. The only dessert not good was the dark chocolate cake which came with a dollop of whip cream. It was very dry and weirdly tasteless. We all tried one bite and couldn't eat any more. My sister felt it has been overbaked. Our fabulous waiter took it off our bill immediately so we appreciate that. Highly recommend Joseph's, the service, the ambience and the food are all top notch and we would definitely come back the next time we're in Santa Fe!"
"if you like a good dish with a twist, i guarantee you can find something that fits your palate. there are so many innovated flavors. chicken pate is a must have, it's very unique to pair with the cherry, raw peas and apple. that I would never thought of to spread on the pate. the duck fat fries didnt stand out but the polenta fries are very unique with the sauce. on the special menu they had the lamb ribs as appetizer, but the portion is enough for main course. the sauce is a boom with honey, curry and balsamic. Main course duck breast is very juicy. one let down is the pad thai, i'm not sure that's pad thai no matter it's a twist or not, it's way too sweet. they have different types of Negroni on the menu, my favorite is the NM nigroni a bit bitter and not too sweet. the restaurant is nothing fancy, inside a traditional adobe house with expose wooden beams. service was great, our waiter is very attentive."
"The lamb burger was good. Duck fries were good. Get the famous enchiladas. Large portion and healthy with lots of veggies."
