"Stopped on my drive to Austin for breakfast. Well worth the extra time. The NM benedict is the best breakfast I've had. Usually a chicken fried steak guy, but the NM Chile and awesome hash browns have taken over first place. I told my server (Zane?) that I was in a hurry and wanted to get on the road quickly. He had my order up super fast. Service is great, I was offered a to go cup for my ice tea, a nice touch."

"Tried this place for the first time recently. Clear across town but oh so worth it! He had The Big Pig Omelette and loved every bite. I had the Zia Pancakes (you’ll have to ask). Stuffed with green chile and bacon. What?! Yes, yes, YES!! Sweet and spicy and salty. I ordered the fried egg separately and put it on top myself cuz that’s how I roll 😁 Our server was the sweetest. Attentive but not overly so. Knew the menu and was very helpful. We will definitely be making a regular visit here. Highly recommend!"

"Used to love going here back when I would only go like twice a year. I started going more frequently, and here’s my experience: for one every single time I placed a phone order for a value meal (I specifically would get the breakfast sandwich) they would charge me for the drink separately even though it’s included on the menu. When I asked about this after about the third time it happened they said “oh I just put the regular price since you didn’t say you wanted the value one” This version didn’t even exist on their menu. I asked “oh okay so what’s the difference between the regular and the value one?” They said the hash browns were a bigger portion. Shawty what, no they are not. In fact I have gotten bigger portions of the hashbrowns when I ordered the value one, and even if they were that is not worth the four extra dollars for a crumb of extra hash brown. I added photos, one is the value one and the other is not. There is not a significant difference, if anything the value one looks bigger. However, why not ask? If there is a discernible difference, why not ask when placing the order if we want the one on the menu or the one with more hash brown??? It’s just not that hard. She just repeated what her manager said, who by the way, is by far the worst manager I’ve witnessed in food service in the last 5 years. With this situation, he was glaring at me like how dare I ask a question about something that’s not even on the menu and was not asked about over the phone. This guy is so rude for no reason, any time anything is brought up he gets visibly angry. Once, my fiancé got peanut butter pancakes and was then told they didn’t have peanut butter, so they just gave him normal pancakes. Then when they still tried to charge us for the peanut butter ones that we never got we brought it up and the manager was so angry. For literally no reason, we didn’t even get that item, you didn’t even have peanut butter what is this drama for? We’re not paying three dollars more for some peanut butter you never even gave us. Also just to be clear, we never called or asked for the manager, they just always brought him so he could yell at us for basic questions. Also mind you, I’m the type of person who ALWAYS tips at least 20% even if the service is awful because I feel bad. But we literally didn’t get that it made no sense to pay extra for something we didn’t get. We still went there after that, because we just thought it was a mistake and they’d be better next time, but it just kept getting worse. They also seated us at the same table (the one closest to the kitchen so you can’t even hold a conversation without shouting, and employees are constantly yelling right next to you) FOUR TIMES IN A ROW on four separate visits. In case you’re wondering if maybe I was rude, and got sat there for this reason, no. First of all, my voice is pretty much always soft, my partner is also the same way, and I am the type to say over say thank you and please, stack the menus, and stack the trash on a plate. And again I always tip at least 20 percent. We also would get pretty much the same thing every time, so it’s not like we were a hassle. It was so cut and dry, and yet they still found a way to ruin it. I don’t know if they sat us there over and over because we look young and maybe they thought we wouldn’t tip well, but what kind of amnesia do you have to have to seat us there four times. Or if they just noticed we didn’t say anything because we were trying to be polite. Literally the exact same table. Anyway, I haven’t been back and I won’t be back. These guys don’t care, they just want your money, and for you to shut up. The food just wasn’t worth being talked down to or scolded for basic things. Would much rather go to indulgence or bite of Belgium."
