She was just a beautiful lady, very welcoming, made sure we were OK and checked up on us from time to time. Trinity was great on top of it all. The coffee, the food, if we needed anything else. My two kids were having a bit of a hard time at the table, and she immediately offered them some crackers while we waited—such a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. The food was delicious! The pancakes were perfectly moist (not dry at all) and full of flavor. The coffee was surprisingly good—something I rarely say about coffee in the fast-food/diner industry. This is definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Las Cruces, NM for families. There are plenty of menu options, so whether you’re looking for classic American comfort food, kid-friendly meals, or a hearty brunch, there’s something for everyone. I didn’t get to try the pies this time, but they looked absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is spacious with lots of seating, plenty of parking, and full handicap accessibility. It’s a great option if you’re searching for family-friendly restaurants in Las Cruces with parking and space for groups. There’s even a little bar area (closed during our visit), which adds to the variety of what the place can offer. What really stood out was the service. Genny is attentive, active, and outgoing—she truly makes people feel at home. Her care and energy turned our first visit into something memorable. Overall, a wonderful experience—great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. "Missing items but still charged- Ordered my food at 5:11pm when I got there at 5:30pm Food was not ready. When I finally got my food it was missing items. So I asked about them and waited. They brought out my soup but not hash browns that I was charged for. Bill was $30.35. It was getting late and I still had to go to work for my 12 hour shift. They told me it was going to be another 15 minutes. It was 5:50pm when I decided to just leave. When I got to my car in the parking lot. The waffle was raw and cold. Never come to Butter Smith during Dinner. They were turning people away with 40 minute wait times, they announced. they"
