What People Are Saying

from Google

"This was genuinely one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a chicharrón burrito and got a dry, nasty mess instead. The beans were burnt, the whole thing was drowned in black pepper, and there was barely any green salsa, which is kind of the entire point of a chicharrón burrito. It somehow tasted even worse than it looked, which is saying a lot. To make it worse, I also got a tamal that was clearly stale, and the meat inside had a weird fishy taste that immediately killed my appetite. Tamales should never taste like that. I threw most of the food away. Completely unacceptable quality, especially for food that’s supposed to be fresh and traditional."

"I don’t know who needs to hear this but this is the best breakfast burrito in Las Cruces, maybe in New Mexico! I’ve been going to this place since i was a kid almost 36 years ago and still come here when I’m in town. Look at the homemade tortillas that made up the burrito! I had chorizo, egg, potato, cheese and chile. Game changer!"

"A donut is a donut is a donut; but are they really? A line is an indicator of word of mouth of “deliciousness” ahead. Fresh daily, with varieties of cake, glacéd, filled and buttermilks. But wait there’s more…… While there we grabbed lunch, and of course they also had tamales, chile rellenos and sides. Definitely one of unique eateries in Las Cruces and will be a delight for our out of town visitors."

"Friendly old timey drive up window service, food made fresh to your order so there is a wait but they are so sweet. Get there Early before they sell out of Donuts! Ahhhh, sugary soft fresh Donuts... and daily Pozole, Menudo, delicious *Chili Relleno Burritos*, Breakfast Burritos, and so many other kinds of Burritos, and Tamales... all individual or buy them by the half dozen or full dozens... for Christmas we bought a box of mixed Tamales and the chli and cheese were gone right away! Delicious"

★★★★★

"Clearly a really popular place. There was a big line up, but staff were kind. The chorizo and bean burrito was delicious. The apple fritter was delicious. I tried their champurrado and have to say that the texture was really not appealing and didn't taste like it had any chocolate. Would not order it again."
