"I decided to give Stripes Burrito Co a try based on all the positive reviews. I opted for an online order for pickup, but when I saw that it required signing up, I chose to go in person instead. Upon arriving, I wasn’t sure where to place the order, so I ended up driving toward the window. Unsure if that was the right spot, I decided to go inside to avoid any confusion. When I got inside, I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Burrito, received a number, and waited. After about 5 minutes, an employee who wasn’t working that day came in and started chatting with the staff. One of the staff members offered him a burrito that had been paid for but not picked up. A few moments later, the staff member who took my order returned to me asking what my order was. Upon confirming she handed me the same order that the other staff was offering earlier. By this time, the paper bag was all crumpled. I was surprised to see that they hadn’t swapped it for a fresh bag. There wasn’t any announcement calling out the order number, and my receipt was labeled as "drive-through" for some reason. What bothered me more was that, while all of this was happening, the staff were laughing among themselves. I’m sure it was meant to be light-hearted, but it didn’t feel very professional, especially given the confusion and mix-up with my order. While I understand that sometimes things get a little hectic, it would have been nice to have been offered an apology or some explanation for the confusion. The situation wasn’t ideal, and I was a bit uncomfortable being handed an order that had previously been offered to someone else. I’m sure the staff was just trying to handle everything as best they could, but I hope that future customers have a smoother experience."
"I love strips the food is always good. This morning on my way home from work the food I ordered tasted and smelled burnt. I took 2 bites and couldn't finish because of how bad it tasted. I returned back to the manual location and asked for a remake, I was calm and polite about it regardless of being tired from working 12hrs and wanting to go home to sleep. I was told they will have it ready in a few mins, I waited over 30 mins and asked the cashier how long it's it going to be he wasn't sure. I then asked if I could just get a refund because I couldn't wait any longer (original order at 6:24 am, went home returned and waited past 8am). I then hear the employees in the back talking very loudly about me and that they weren't happy they had to remake my food. I told the manager it was unprofessional given I not once was rude or disrespectful to anyone and just wanted my food done properly. I'd like to see those employees eat food they paid for that taste nasty and not complain. This location is convenient as it's on my way home but I'll be making the trip to a different location from now on. Disappointing that the manager allowed this to happen and just kept quiet."
"Order got totally jacked up yesterday. They fixed it then I noticed something else wrong, and they fixed that. Then when it came time to eat my own meal, I realized my burger didn't have it's ADD bacon. I called in for resolution so I didn't have to go in a 3rd time on my lunch. They took my info down and said come in any time and we'll correct that order for you. Came in the next day, and no record whatsoever of the information the employee took down the day prior. Instead of getting accusatory the night manager Keanu absolutely saved the day! We walked through it got it all fixed and I left happy. All thanks to Keanu, you guys made the right one a manager. Give that guy a raise, a promotion, more hours, whatever he asks for!"
