"The food at Mata G is well seasoned and decent quality- especially for pre - prepared and sitting in a cold case. However- my issue is with the prices. I came in and got 1 container of tofu salad , pita bread ( 3 pcs) and I cookie - at a cost of 17.81- I gave a 20.00 dollar bill - To which the girl behind the counter asked do you want your change?… it’s worse when you use a card - and they give you the iPad that suggests even higher tip percentages. Of course I said “ you can keep the change “- and I took my one piece of plastic utensil that was offered ( got to choose between 1 fork, or one spoon lol) and left… But in all honesty I’m not ok with these prices - it’s too expensive! This is why I maybe stop in here to Mata G - once or twice a year…Good food- very minimal service ( if any)… I don’t think it’s worth the feeling I’ve over paid and over tipped. Every time I come in here I feel this way- thought someone there should know . See you in a year or so - when I save up for another cookie …"

"On the corner of Silver just down the street off Central is this quaint location. For such colorful and exceedingly healthy food the flavors and textures made me want to go back for more. The seasonings were on par with some of the best food I have ever tasted. On top of all that it's reasonably priced and you can grab and go. The energy I felt while eating there was fantastic and I would suggest this establishment for any hungry passerby. Outstanding!"

"My $9 black bean and cheese burrito was a tube of refried beans, really dry and stale on the ends. The “pico de gallo” was three tiny cubes of tomato. No flavor whatsoever. Absolutely disgusting."
