"Addendum, three months later: I hate to write this because I love The Coop - BUT Sweet Grass ground meat in THE WORST I have ever tasted. Disgusting. It's like ground beef from Hell. I even choked while trying to eat it. I contacted Sweet Grass, by email, four days ago -- no reply. So -- here I am. And I won't be buying Sweet Grass anything ever again. //// Original review: Every grocery store these days have rude employees. These days even Trader Joe employees can be rude. Regardless of all that, this is a great grocery store for produce. As for the produce, I like it much more than the one on Rio Grande. This Coop is THE best place in town to buy produce. I have to go way out of my way to go to this store. (I intensely dislike the location -- on Central.) But I'm going to join the next time I'm in, and this is my go-to store for produce. Imagine produce that tastes good! The Coop has it! (Jerry takes good care of the produce dept.)"

"I've been thinking about revisiting the store, but I can't bring myself to walk in there because on my very first visit to this lovely little farmers market a couple months ago the young lady checking me out didn't even acknowledge me with a hello and immediately started a conversation with the guy that got in line behind me. She went on laughing and chatting with him as she checked me out, and I just felt so dismissed. It was rude quite frankly. I just felt like it was so lacking that I have not been able to return to spend my money there. I guess I didn't realize at the time that it impacted me so much until I was sitting here thinking about where I wanted to do my grocery shopping this weekend. Will update this review if I decide to return."

"Know what you’re walking into. This place takes pride in the amount of local goods they carry which means you’re going to pay more. But their local produce is some of the freshest and lasts the longest, it’s one of the few grocery stores where you can get local meat, cheese, bread, eggs, coffee, even some of their bulk goods are local. Their pre-made stuff is no-nonsense. I like the convenience, I like their compostable produce bags (personally verified), everyone is always very nice and I like the atmosphere. It’s a bit pricier but well worth it for me."

"First time visiting because I needed some vegan vitamins. While there, I asked if it would be okay for me to take pictures to post to Google review. Well, let just say humility escapes management. You would think I asked to take away the air they are breathing! Won't be going back. I ultimately got the vitamins stopped taking photos and left."

"I come here to get my fix of mushroom jerky. Can't find it anywhere else. Your EBT dollars double with purchase of produce and it has that neighborly feel. A lot of good is being done here. Yeah it's a little more pricey but the quality is top notch. Go visit!"
