What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"The pumpkin spice latte accomplished the impressive feat of tasting like stale tortilla chips. Maybe it’s because I ordered it hot this time instead of iced, so that one might be on me. The burritos are fresh! Unfortunately, the tortillas wrapping them tend to be burnt. The potatoes are plain, the cheese is fine. The green chile isn’t hot. A cardinal sin but nobody's perfect. I believe in third chances, and my tolerance for overpriced experiences is pretty high, so I’ll probably order from here again. That said, the service is always great! I’ve never met a mean barista here. Overall, a peaceful spot to languish."

"This was actually a little difficult to find inside the food hall from the direction we entered. The only sign for the business is outside along Central Ave, but we entered from Fifth Street. We were there specifically for Humble Coffee, so we had to wander around until we found it. Once we did, we ordered sweet muffins and iced coffee. The muffins were really good!! I asked for my honey lavender latte extra sweet, and it definitely was not. But the woman working there was great and very personable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want some coffee."

"There was a log line to order, but I received my coffee so fast! The staff is always friendly and accommodating! This is my favorite coffee in NM! It’s so smooth and delicious. The syrups are homemade and also amazing!"

"Each time I have gone so far I have had wonderful experiences with friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is an excellent selection of drinks to choose from with local specialties that taste fantastic. Even in these uncertain financial times, they have had reasonable prices, especially compaired to larger chains. The decor is beautiful and creates a dynamic yet relaxed atmosphere that makes me want to come back just to see everything again and again. Will definitely continue to stop by any time I am in the downtown area."

"Humble Coffee is a great local coffee shop on Central. It was my first time trying it. I asked if they had Mexican mochas and although it’s not on their menu the barista offered to whip one up without issue. The red chile was a great kick in the drink. For those who can’t drink cow’s milk, they have oat and almond milk they can use in any drink that requires milk. I had the vegan chickpea chana masala burrito. It was delicious! It didn’t need any extra sauces because it wasn’t the least bit dry. I enjoyed that the chickpeas were mashed, so they felt like potatoes instead of whole chickpeas. I’d recommend it! The coffee shop has a large amount of seating, tables, and is an open area. It’s good for a few friends or perhaps even a book club with tables pushed together. I’m glad my friend suggested this spot. I’ll definitely come back!"
