"We love Frenchish. This is our go to place for some of the best food in town. This is the only place that serves Salt Spring Island mussels which are the best mussels ever- plump, slightly sweet, and Frenchish always cooks them to perfection. Also the best frenchish burger in town- juicy, flavorful and always done just the way we like it, medium-rare. We usually order one of the salad, which are made with care and attention to detail. One our favorite entrees is the duck and creatively prepared with such ingredients as black lentils, or cherries...depending on the season. We always look forward to the weekly Frenchish email with the weekly specials. It's hard to not visit this place at least once a month. We love this place and we're sure you will, too."

"I dined here with a friend and had a mostly positive experience. We arrived right at our 5 PM reservation and were greeted and seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive at first, though as the restaurant got busier, we saw our waiter less and less. The food quality was very good, and while I felt the portions could have been slightly larger for the price, I was still pleased with my meal. My friend, however, was disappointed with their dish—it was described as a lamb dish but had very little lamb, mostly sauce and veggies. Fortunately, our waiter was kind enough to replace it with something more satisfying, which was much appreciated. Overall, the food was great but definitely on the pricier side. Still, I’m glad I got to visit and enjoy the ambiance, which made for a nice evening."

"The deviled eggs were delicious 😋 the sauvignon blanc paired wonderfully with the day boat halibut. The fish was tender, flaky and Loaded with flavor!! The squash was a nice touch that brought it all together. I hope to return soon for their quaint environment and friendly service, not to mention the delicious food!"

"Absolute rip-off. Horrible portions, management, and staff. The rude manager even had the nerve to point out that the ounces were listed on the menu when I pointed out the small portions, as if her restaurant isn't European! They also weren't listed on the menu at all, they gave it back to me to stare at while I ate, so I think I know what it said. 51st state in education strikes again! Imagine owning a French-based restaurant and talking ounces?! No wonder I didnt know how much to expect!"
