What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"I really enjoyed this spot. The tamaquiles were delicious and full of flavor, and the portion was just right. I also tried a concha and it was so soft and sweet, the kind that makes you want to take one home. The place itself feels warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly the whole time. It’s a great spot to start your morning and I’d definitely come back again."

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I would, my daughter was craving Matcha and tripped upon this place. We don’t live in Albuquerque and we did not want to drink Starbucks. Definitely the best Matcha I have ever had and the Pan was even better. Soooo cute. Love this place"

"I drive by this place daily on my way to work and we finally took the time to stop in. We will start off with the needs work. So obviously not working out a full kitchen so food options are extremely limited. Looks like they are working with air fryer, griddle, and a hot plate in a corner behind the counter so giving them some grace on speediness and options available. What was disappointing is they have 4 options for food. Chilaquiles tamaliquiles (I think I spelled that correctly) tamales and parfait but they only had Chilaquiles with an option of adding eggs for two dollars and the parfait available. If your food menu consists of 4 options those options should be available. I saw other reviews stating they have breakfast burritos but that wasn’t on the menu. Maybe Sundays those options aren’t available not sure. Next is the fact that we witnessed a worker with no gloves touch her face/nose area and then go back to touching and drying freshly washed dishes. When I worked in the food industry wearing gloves definitely helps as reminder if you touch your face to change your gloves. Our eggs were over cooked by a lot and our chips on the chilaquiles were also overcooked and a little burnt tasting. Pros to this place was everyone was pretty friendly. We didn’t order at the counter but on the self service station which is a nice option. The conchas were delicious, soft, and fresh. The coffees were great and tasted delicious. We will be back hoping they get the issues fixed. I’ll definitely be back for coffee and pastries and if they have the tamales available I’d love to try them especially with the delicious red and green sauce. To the review that was irritated that one you had to get up to get your order when your name was called have you never been to a cafe before. It’s not unusual and is a standard for a coffee shop. 2nd bussing your own table and a reminder at the table is also common. You’d hate visiting places like Seattle where both of these practices are common place."

"Not only were the ladies in the cafe the absolute sweetest and most attentive (even when they were decently busy), the coffees were great and a variety of fun flavors! The chilaquiles were so good! Would absolutely go here again to try some of their baked goods too."

"This place has been all over my TikTok feed so I gave it a try. First thoughts 🤔 there's a huge disconnect between the location, value and quality. Food: I gave it a 4, because it was good and I genuinely enjoyed it. I had a concha, red chilaquiles, one coffee and a matcha mango drink. The flavors were ok, but definitely not worth the hype. There was no WOW factor. Service: Not impressed, as you walk in you're not welcomed. No one greets you. It's not inviting. The service is subpar, the young guy at the counter couldn't be bothered but once he rings you up definitely wants to remind you about the tip. Service was slow, we got our food before our drinks. We finished our food, and still no drinks. Instead of the guy who rung us up, made the drinks bring it to our table only a few steps away... he calls for us to pick it up ourselves... and to add insult to injury they have these table reminders that request you pick up after yourself we're talking about the dishes and silverware. It just didn't seem inviting, especially as a patron who tips generously. Atmosphere: it's lit but the disconnect with the service ruined it. Plus this isn't a place that the ambiance matches the theme. The theme feels like you should be welcomed, that you're at home with family but they missed the mark."
