"I walked into Café Es Amor expecting coffee and walked out questioning why most of Albuquerque has been lying to itself. This place sits in Barelas like it has always been there, like the neighborhood quietly willed it into existence. No corporate coffee altar. No tortured menu boards. Just the smell of cinnamon, piloncillo, and something ancient and correct brewing behind the counter. Then came the café de olla. Not the polite, Instagram-safe version. This is the real thing.
